please help me with my effexor trouble!

I am currently taking Effexor. I am prescribed 150mg. one in the morning and one at night. 300mg a day all together. My life is horrible on the meds and i am not trying to come off. I am always dizzy, my face gets totally tingily, expecially my lips, and worst of all, for atleast an hour out of every day I get the terrible feeling of being out of my body looking down on my self, as if i have no control of anything and that i am not really there. I know this sounds strange but this i s how I have been living my life. It started when I would miss a pill one day the next I would feel this way. Then it got to the point if I was a couple hours late I would feel this way. Recently I have been getting like this all of the time and I have begun having horrible panic attacks and I always take my Effexor, never missing a dosage and always taking it on time. And of course, when I take an extra pill its helps with all of this except for the panic attacks. This is ruining my life and I am only 19yr's old.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You have a serious problem,

You know that.

Cant trace effexor but it is obviously a antidepressant/tranquilliser.

This means that you are suppressing the symptoms but NOT curing anything.

So you must eventually end up with a chronic condition - not good.

If you read the posts around this forum you will see the kind of info we need to attempt to help you .

See what you can write up about yourself as a person.

Check out the [post] entitled "Effexor withdrawal and symptoms, please help." Lots of people in various stages of withdrawal, etc.
