Peculiar reaction. Homeopathic solution?

I've been bedeviled by light headedness, something I've posted on here. It's a peculiar form of dizziness because it has no seeming causality beyond not eating a heavy protein meal.

Basically, my eyes start to cramp and feel like the muscles around them are spasming. At the same time, I can't turn my head quickly or I'll get vertigo. There's also a sensation in the center of my forehead, the third eye area, that feels like I am literally being pulled forward by it.

I've found some things that set it off: nerves/stress, intense mental work (computer), and hunger. It's alleviated by eating solid protein. Cold cuts don't work well. Neither does a junk protein like a hot dog. It has to be solid, like chicken or beef. Within minutes, my eyes start to calm down.

Anyway, I found out a major causality to the problem: protein drinks. I've experimented with a few, all of them whey protein isolate.

Within a minute or two the sensation comes on. It's so fast that it literally cannot be an allergic reaction because my system has not had time to even begin assimilating it.

And yet it's happened 3-4 times now. It's always the same: if I do this early in the morning, before breakfast, I'm wrecked for the next few hours. My morning will be miserable.

But if I take the exact same shake at night, it doesn't bother me much. A little, but not much. That's because I wake up a wreck, unrested, really, but I get stronger as the day goes on. In the evening I am at my most attentive, most awake and most lucid. It's 10:16 pm now :)

I tried kali phos 6x after reading about its effect on eyes in a book on tissue salts. But no luck. However, I am happy that I finally nailed the culprit (I believe) in whey protein.

So, what is it about whey protein that it hits me right in the eyes, and is there a remedy for it?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I take it that the Nux-vomica failed again to help you? After knowing you had taken it previously I didn't have much confidence in it.

Our remedies aren't really catagorized in that way - it is the symptoms that matter, not the cause of the problem (which is not a true cause but a trigger). I have not seen Whey listed in our literature as an aggravating factor.

What leads you to the remedy that will cure, is the unique reaction a person has to the trigger. The problem is not whey, other people can tolerate it without problems. The problem is *your* reaction and this is what can be dealt with.

No the Nux didn't work. Sorry.

My reaction is a dizziness very similar to hypoglicemia but my blood sugar is normal.

Well we can continue with treatment. I hadn't heard back from you regarding the Nux-v 200 so I didn't know what had happened to you.

Ok. So as I said, Nux didn't help. So what else would you like to know?

I will need to review the case in the other post.
