Acute Pilonidal Sinus Requesting advice from Pankaj Varma
Hello,Dr. Varma,
I am a 25yrs male suffering from Pilonidal sinus for past 3 years, have got operated thrice but still it reoccurs and the frequency of occurrence has greatly increased after my last operation 8 months ago. Now i having the flare every 2nd week and so there is a very small opening which never seals off and it drains almost every week.
Here in Germany i also visited a homeo Doctor but he said homeopathy won,t be helpfull in my case. although suggested me only (silicea D200 GLO 10 G N1).
But i didnot take it as even the doctor was sure that it won,t work. He asked me to go for another operation which certainly is my last option.
hereby i tried to describe my complete situation to you and have attached a picture of the affected area.
Please help me with this...

Sorry to hear about Dr. Varma. Certainly God rests him in peace. He helped many peoples and their blessings are always with him.
As required i tried to fill in my details below.
1. ID:- sandeep_86
2. Age:- 25
3. Sex:- Male
4. Single/Married:- Single
5. weight :- 90 Kg
6. Height :- 177 cm
7. country :- India since 2010 and now Germany
8. climate :- Humid sub-Tropical and semi-arid in India and temperate in Germany
9. List of your complaints:-
a) Pilonidal cyst on top of buttock cleavage from August 2009.
b) Unsuccessfully Operated twice in India on September 2009 and July 2010.
c) almost every 2nd or 3rd week the cyst swells and drains, not much pain as the cyst has a
d) with some hard physical movement like trekking and tennis playing the secretion is more and drains in large amounts. Since my last operation
e) the affected part itches most of the time mostly when it swells.
f) also can feel some dead skins around the cyst with some protruding pimples mostly when it has drained and in the process of drying up.

13. Thirst:- Not much

16. What exactly is happening?
The cyst is swelling under a thin skin and it itches but I donot want to peel the skin myself and help it drain as it may cause infections.
17. How do you feel?
Irritating and bit week.
18. How does this affect you?
I can,t work sitting for long as it hurts and neither can lay on bed on my back.
While doing some sports it hurts and drains and need to be conscious everytime.
My trousers gets marks of blood when it drains heavily.
19. How does it feel like?
Always stimulating to scratch the area as it itches very often.
20. What comes to your mind?
May be it can never be healed and I might have to live rest of my life with this.
21. One situation that had a big effect on you?
When I was in India I was working in a bank for 1.5 years then I had to sit and work for really long hours 10 to 12 hours a day and had no time to make sports and recreations. I was very depressed and use to drink alcohol almost every day. And I got this cyst after 1 year of my service with the bank .
22. How did that feel like?
I suspect my long working hours at the bank is possibly the major reason for the cyst .
23. What sensation do you experience in that situation?
Itching, pain and some contraction.
24. What are you showing by that gesture of your hand (Habits or Actions)?
My hands just go towards that area for scratching it when ever I am not conscious about it.
25. Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past?
Mostly antibiotics , I donot remember the names presently but if its very essential then let me know I shall try to collect them from my parents in India

Parents are Govt. Employees. I am the only child of my parents, nuclear family

B.Tec , Post Grad Banking Operations and presently doing my Masters.

Mostly sitting either in class, labs or study rooms

I like rich and Non veg food and mostly eat the same.

My problem persist always and so I have never noticed anything that increases the Problem.

Mostly in hot climate where temperature is more than 35 °c or so.. And I feel better in cold and less humid temperatures.

Top of cleavage and spreading towards the left and right buttock

Urine:- yellowish sometime but mostly white.
Stool:- Yellow
Saliva:- Normal
And secretion for the cyst:- colourless dense and hazy fluid , mostly mixed with blood and has an off smell.

Please take Mercurius Solubilis 200C, 4 drops in 1/4 glass of mineral water, stir nicely with a spoon before taking the dose. Only one dose please.
Please do not take anything else.
Also, you will be needing Hypericum 200C, Calendula 1X and Arsenicum Album 200C.

Would you please confirm me whether 'Merc sol 200' is the same as 'Mercurius Solubilis 200C'.
I am trying to order these medicines online but not from abchomeopathy as Germany is not one of its delivery locations.
I have been through many other cases of Pilonidial sinus in the site and found mostly Dr, advice for myristica sebifera, silicea and calcarea-sulfurica.
I am bit worried that in my case why its different, is it like my case is more serious or some thing like that. I would request you to please explain me your treatment plan and which medicine will contribute and how to completely cure me.
I do know value of your time but i think it would help me mentally getting myself cured even more than the medicines....
Also would like to mention that on the left side of the buttock just below the cyst i can feel something hard under the skin i believe its pus..

Yes, it is the same.

Yes, the doctors do, I do too. Depending upon the symptoms, a remedy is selected. In your case, you have passed that stage for Myristica where the pus has to be expelled as this remedy is called Homoeopathic Knife.
Calc Sulph and Silicea in the lower potencies are used to take care of the yellow color pus and pain. When the pus becomes white watery, then, we give higher potencies of these remedies to dry the pus and close the cyst.
Your case is in the advanced stage towards a cure as you are stating ' And secretion for the cyst:- colourless dense and hazy fluid , mostly mixed with blood and has an off smell. '
Mercurius Solubilis 200C is the best matching remedy at this stage to take care of your bloody, colorless, hurting pus!

Would also like to know if i can order Calendula 3X instead of 1X ?
I wish to order all the medicines from together and they do not have Calendula 1X.
Plz let me know if that has to be specific, i mean whether i must order Calendula 1X only.
