This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Ok let me post my intake form, and see what information comes up that we can use.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE. You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide.

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like

I will probably have more questions for you after that.

I also need to know what homoeopathic remedies you have taken in the past, and what the results were.

It might be appropriate to use one of our post-injury/post surgical remedies, but I prefer to get a proper case anyway, as we actually have many of those so the symptoms can still decide which one is best.

I'd like to add that the cat allergy went away when I ate the homepathic remedies, but came back when I stopped.

There are many indications for Arnica but I believe the miasm (chronic disease pattern) is not correct. I think that the plant group to which Arnica belongs is almost definitely indicated. There are many remedies in this group, who share the characteristics of being Worse for Touch even slight, Worse for Injury, Swollen and Bruised.

Can you tell me more about isolating yourself.

Can you tell me more about being perfect.

Our medicines can be divided into natural groups. Arnica belongs to the Compositae group of plants, and they all share some qualities which when seen in a patient, helps you to narrow down your search to that group.

Based on your answers, and the nature of the injury, I would suggest using Bellis perennis 200c. You can get that in pillule or liquid form, but you will also need a clean bottle (15-30mls) and a dropper along with some alcohol (spirits such as vodka or brandy).

Thank you, I'll try to find it!

Have often do I take it, what dose, for how long?

axel lambert last decade
How many doses depends on your reaction to the first one, we will have to see how much good that does.

When you get hold of it I will tell you how to use it. Make sure you also get hold of a separate small (15-30ml) bottle with a dropper on top, and some spirit alcohol (vodka or brandy is fine).

The homeopathic pharmacy in town has got Bellis perennis D6, D12 and D30, but not 200c.

Should I go with one of these, or try to find 200c elsewhere, in your opinion?

axel lambert last decade
I found bellis perennis D200 also.

D stands for the decimal potency. That is potency scale I do not often use, I would prefer the C potency if you are able to get it.

If you need to settle for 30C (or C30) rather than 200C that is an acceptable compromise, but I would rather not use the D (also called X) potencies.

I think I found it here: Bell-p&uid=102512 " rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.helios.co.uk/cgi-bin/store.cgi?action=link&s...

Would you suggest pills or in liquid?

axel lambert last decade
They do have a variety of different forms and sizes of bellis perennis.... Suggestions?

axel lambert last decade
Doesn't matter what form. Just make sure you have the second bottle for making up your dosing mix.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ordered it! Will get back to you when it arrives, thanks a lot!

axel lambert last decade
Oh, I got the pills, do I still have to mix them with alcohol or can I just take them as they are?

axel lambert last decade
Don't take the pillules directly, they can be very aggravating.

Dissolve 2 of them into the small bottle with the alcohol and water in it.

For each dose, I want you to hit the bottle firmly against the palm of the hand twice only. Then place 1 drop into 1/4 cup (62mls) of water, stir thoroughly and place 1 teaspoon in the mouth, which you can swallow. Throw the rest of the cup out.

This is one dose. I just want you to do that one only for a few days, to test your reaction. Then we can look at repeat doses.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ok, just to clarify, the bottle should contain both alcohol AND water? How much of each? 50/50?

Update: The last days, my main problem has been the extremely low-hanging left testicle (makes it difficult to walk). Feels very unpleasant, like someone squeezing your nut almost, severe pain at times (evenings).

axel lambert last decade
Sorry I somehow missed one of your posts.

The ratio of water to alcohol should always be 5:1.

Are you reporting an aggravation of your symptoms (feels worse)?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Yes, the testicles (esp. left one) hang even lower now and more frequently and in longer periods.

Might have to do with sleeping pills I have taken the last five nights (a wild guess). I'll try to sleep without them and see what happens.

axel lambert last decade
No it is more likely the remedy. Aggravation is the first sign that it is working. Aggravation usually peaks about 3-5 days after the dose, and improvement will start to set in once that finishes- commonly 5-7 days later.
