please help somebody

having a pain below my knee cap on the bone cause when i press there i get pain plus when i kneel as it hurts . iam 35 years old and iam having a history of gout as my father has gout and i am having high uric acid, dont want to take zyloric as side effects are terrible , please advise anything to lower uric acid level and also something for this pain as its there since 3 months and i had an xray done and doc says there is swelling in the bone , i did ultrasound for 15 days but no benefit pls advise something for the pain as well as uric acid

also forgoit to add that the pain is in my right leg in a place just below the knee cap in the center of the bone

Kevin, my nephew has gout and someone told him to drink Cherry Juice...you can buy this at a health food store, either in concentrate, or regular..he has been taking this for 4 wks., and can tell a remarkable difference in his knees and toe.
