RE: Visions

Dear Homeopathic Forum

Hi I am new to your site and need some help with my son. I would like to send you some details and hope that someone may be able to help us.
I am struggling with migraines 24/7 myself but I need help with my son. If I can get him through I will be ok.
He is very pale. He gets terrible sudden headaches, sudden!! And has to suddenly lie down, is worse for travel. His little cheeks (both go bright red) and his face looks so pale and anemic. He has to lite down immediately. He gets really irritable, short and sharp 'What took you so long.?' he would say. He is under a lot of pressure, that I see in his head. He feels like his head is melting, and its like HOT LAVA.
His eyes glisten and cool things help. He is terrified and has had a lot to deal with. He has had a lot of shock or frights.( I wish I could take his pain and wished I had done better).
(Can anyone help please.)He has a lot of anxiety, huge and if he is at his fathers he will ring me up to 15 times in a few minutes if I have not answered. Then he will say very abruptly 'why didnt you answer the phone?'. He has a lot of anger, rage and it comes out where he has to control himself as he feels like'ripping the kids heads off' who tease him. His friends have said he need
}anger.
He see ghosts and is terrified. He says he sees them at his fathers all the time. I have known that he has these scarey visions but he said to me tonight' Iam not just seeing them in my mind I am actually seeing them.' Please help me my son needs a lot of nurturing etc and I hope to find a remedy that will help heal this s he can be comfortable and also not have these terrible debilitating headaches.
(He is not wanting to talk about it and is very irritable when I question him, he is very sharp and abrupt, almost'attacking' (I would say.) He hid under the bed after he told me. He is terrified and I want him to be free to the best of all possible.
He is blonde, fair hair and has beautiful green eyes.
When he has his headache wich is pretty much constant he goes a little silly, is beside himself with the pain, curls up, wants to curl up into a ball (lay down-MUST)(instantly. His head feels hot, he always complains of having a fever, head only. Says his head (internally) feels like hot lava (as mentioned earlier) and you can see he is in terrible pain and is debilitated. He cant move, worse for movement -traveling. Worse to be consoled 'I'm alright Mum.' but I can see he isn't(I'm ok), wants to be left alone and not disturbed. Worse for being touched. Better for pressure (my hand resting on his head. He is very pale, face and around the eyes puffy and bloated. Looks very dark under the eyes, and I see also yellow discoloration/ad pale face. Bloated, with his headache three days ago his little ace looked very distorted (PUFFY, swollen). He is terrified and gets nightmare from things like Harry Potter but is attracted to watch it and other things like that. His jaw drops with the headache and he has no energy. He can be snappish, harsh, aggressive (mild to me, irritable, he is very very anxious, with the headache it is s consuming, he has no energy. The headaches come on suddenly and they are very strong, he is terrified and immobilized. I have tried a number of remedies, I have given him a 200c in Belladonna. Can anyone please help. Most Kind Regards

I am going to post my intake form. Some of this you may have already covered in your previous post.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all his problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information. Note that some complaints may not lend themselves easily to answer each of these questions.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in his life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF his HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE. You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide.

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in his life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on him mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that he manages or deals with his problems, or any problems that occur in his life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in his behavior especially concerning his disease.

Discuss any part of his life where he seems stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of his disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe his childhood and the kind of environment he grew up in, with reference to his relationships with his family, his school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If the earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that he craves (not just like) or hates
2. The specific drinks that he craves or hates
3. What his sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects him
5. What kinds of things in the environment he is particularly sensitive to
6. What is his general level of energy is like

9. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
b) Skin colour and texture
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat

10. Give any reactions to vaccines or medical drugs.

11. Please describe the pregnancy in great detail, noting any problems or symptoms you had. Most important are any strange or unusual symptoms that vanished after your child's birth, or any symptoms that you experienced which your child now shows.

1. What exactly happens?

Dear David
I dont believe my son has very much freedom in his life at all. He is in a lot of fear. (I have the same headache throbbing 24/7 myself and it is constant, please excuse me if I am vague or not keeping
things really clear or specific, I am extremely exhausted.)

The headache is constant, it s just whether it is very bad or moderate. I see that it is a state. That the headache is apart of the constant state. It just gets a little better a times and worse at others the headache is a constant, and the state within it or within the picture is a constant. He always looks so pale.

The sensation is THROBBING, pounding, it is like his head is MELTING so so so much HEAT, as if he constantly has a fever. There are times when the fever is not so strong, but it always looks like his system is fighting something, meaning that it always looks like his energy is being taken by this headache and fever (so to speak). Like the fever and headache (both are at the same time) are always there, they just flare up and ease in degrees. He always looks exhausted and not free (so to speak). The headache is heavy like a weight, his head burns and with his pale face he gets two red flushed cheeks. Its always worse when we are in the car, travelling makes him feel very sick, as the state has a lot of nausea anyway. Sick in the stomach with headache s and fever.

When we are in the car, or if it is towards the end of the day (as if the pressure of the day builds up), worse around 2-3-4pm (3-4pm -morso 4pm ), (worse dry hot days)his head is hot to touch, his body cold, he suddenly look even more pale. It happens a lot when we are in the car, he hates being in the car driving around, all of a sudden he puts his seat back and flops down-suddenly he CAN NOT MOVE, he is out of it (so to speak) from the heat o the fever and the headache. (Throbbing, pulsing, burning.)

He immediatly has to lie down, his head is hot and flushe (heat) his body cold. He is suddenly FLOPPY (like a doll) he cant hold his head up, its like the weight and the pressure in his head, throbbing and heat, hot hot literally forces him to lie down, its heavy and debilitates his whole little system (so debilitating). His breathing gets heavy and hot, his lips red and dry, cracked, and very quickly.

Everything in his head looks like it is burning, and it is but when I take his temp, I get a normal reading. Inside he feels like he is boiling, melting burning, HOT LAVA. He has to breath with his mouth open, his breath hot and heavy, it sounds like there is some sinus congestion, -his breathing is thick hot and heavy (mouth open). Worse for any sun. Worse travel. Better cool drinks. Worse being disturbed. Doesnt want to be asked anything and doesnt want to talk, HE CANT. (Its like he is out of it as the ever its so bad). DEBILITATING. There is not choice of where he puts is head, he immediately flops, (he has flopped his head right on down the r He wants to be alone and says he is ok (but isnt). He is very aggitated. Worse for music, wants only silence, wants only to be quiet. Doesnt want to be touched or disturbed. Its like he needs all the space and not to be touched or disturbed so his body can deal with the fever.
He has terrible fears (I will come to this). He plays the DS (the computer game) so that he can hide and not be so terrified, to keep his mind occupied and so concentrating on something else helps. (As if he is terrified.) It keeps his mind off the fear, and keeps him hidden. (from what I feel/see) (the outer world is very scarey-or he is terrified.) It looks like he is suddenly attacked by something, like his system is fighting something, fever, his head feels like it is going to burst, throbbinng and so so so hot, his forehead is hot, both cheeks red, burning and throbbbing. He is worse if I try to move him, any movement makes it worse, he want s to immediately go home. What I really want to share is that he has to lie down, its not like he chooses to lay down to make himself feel better but HAS TO. HE HAS NO CHOICE. He immediatley has to put the seat back.

He is floppy, he doesnt have any strength. He is like a little doll, like all his muscle and strength is gone feeling, he has to lie down, like a heavy weight/ hits him, hthe heat and the throbbing, hot lava (feeling), hot heavy, worse after 12pm, after 20mins in the car he is totally debilitated, he immediatley pops his seat back, he flops down, the heat is so so much, you can see he is so unwell, he cant talk,he caant move he has no strength, he cacnt move, he flops he head immediately, he doesnt have any energy, too hot, he is exhausted-how can I describe it, he has no energy to even make sure he is comforatble. He just falls (flops) down so to speak. (He has to LIE DOWN SUDDENLY AND QUICKLY). Instantly. It is not a choice, he has too>.He doesnt want to go out. He doesnt want to be disturbed in any way. He is worse for any movement. Doesnt want to talk. Or be spoken to. It is like it takes everything for him just to cope. He curls up into a little ball, playing his DS with the very little energy he has. Just concentrating on something to keep his mind off the pain. (let me find out a little more about that)

Like something (the fever) is (attacking him), he looks delerious, zoned out, spaced out, hot and flushed, burning, burning, he cant talk and looses all choice. He is just trying to keep it all together (so to speak, and it takes all of his energy). He cant move. He is floppy. He face looks so puffy and swollen. You can see the throbbing, the heat, his little cheeks red, pale face, wosre for motion, doesnt want to be distubed, better for firm pressure upon his forehead (' feel my head Mum, do I have the fever?', ).

He is exhausted, tired and over run by the fever. It takes everything from him (so to speak) but I need to share that his energy isnt good. It just peeks ad flutcuates at times. Its like the state is there all the time, there are just times when it is worse (he just tries to cope with it, its all the time. There are just parts where of the day and situations that make it worse. The state is always there.)

He looks like he is suffering greatly because he is. (Situation: In doc surgery, I carried him in, he can walk but is floppy, spaced out, dazed, he has to rest his head on my lap. he can not sit upright at all. He immediately HAS TO LAY DOWN> HEAD THROBBING with fever (but doc took temp and it was 36.9 or 37.) He told the Doc (MY HEAD IS MELTING).

Nothing excites him. Nothing interests him, he only tries to keep occupied so he can cope but cant move his body, just curls up and plays the DS. He said doesnt want to be touched or disturbed, sensitve, irritable. he said the other day, very harsh 'I would be fine if you woudl just take me to the movie.' but it wass very attacking, threatening, like he has to to cope, he is sharp and quick. Suddden. He is in a lot of pain.

I think you were very close with the Belladonna, but the miasm (chronic disease pattern) isn't right with that remedy.

This looks like the Typhoid miasm. I think the general group themes of throbbing, pulsating, heat, fear and terror etc do indeed point to the Solonaceae family (to which Belladonna belongs). In understanding that the miasm might by Typhoid, and this would lead us to the remedy Hyoscamus instead, a close relative of Belladonna.

Can you get Hyoscamus 200c?

Dear David
I just asked my son a few questions around the sphere of sexuality (re Hyos). Like trying to extract a tooth from someone that doesnt want the tooth to be extracted. But yes after much difficulty and as suspected for sometime, yes. I will give a one m I think and see how things go. I'll start with a 200c.
I could see that Bell didnt really fit in the way that he still looked 'locked' so to speak pale and suffering.
I don't really understand miams. Maybe when the time is right you could share your understanding- I hear you.
I appreciate and thank you for taking the time to reply. I will give him a 200c.

Thank You
I will call your practice to make an appointment.

no disruption meant by this posting--

during peak episodes of head pain as described is clear indication for nux vomica--as can be ascertained through comparison with materia medica---this is important ---

there may be a maintaining factor envolved in child's envirement, diet ...etc---these need be adjusted

what is of importance is--- when these episodes started? and what were the coinciding factors occuring around this time? could seem inrelated or unimportant but no matter how small this need be looked into--explain exact ly what is meant by him being under stress..-could be seperation of mother and father time period --this must be elicited..

as for ghosts --u need clarify if ghosts seeing is during the peak point of the haed pain episodes (when lying curled up) or not??

but at this time remove all stimulating foods--colas and caffeined foods and dose with nux-v---use 30c single dose --2 pellets in 4 oz water-in drinking glass--stir---1 teaspoon dose---best do this immediately after paroxym (peak of episode) so as not give undue aggravtion--this method benefit most..

then info needs be deepened--so understanding comes of depth of illness---

also need know son's health history -treatments used ---fates and such

i am not telling u to share this here --just stating i see lacking of info and clarification so as proper diagnosis be made---

but nux-v will help--if after 30c dose u see lessened episodes--wait and administer 200c same method-- be sure adjust diet accordingly---
