Joe De Livera

I need help in managing my son's reflux. He is 5 months old and is breast fed. He spits up a LOT all day long. He will sometimes choke on it, sometimes it comes out of his nose. I don't know if it causes him any pain because he is currently on prevacid. He will cry when he chokes on it, or make a face when he spits up if its curdled, but other than that he is a happy spitter. Do you have any suggestions for me? If you need more information, please let me know. Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Give him Two doses of Aethusa Cynapium 30 morning & evening for six days & watch the improvement. Each dose of 3 pills.
Please let me know about him after this course of treatment.

Please STOP the Prevacid. It will do more harm to your baby than any good that it was prescribed for by your pediatrician.

Aethusa C is a remedy used to treat a child who is lactose intolerant and is the standard remedy prescribed by classically trained homeopaths to treat children who are over a year old. You may like to know that I have pioneered the use of Nat Phos 6x which is a Biochemic Cell Salt which is absolutely safe in use and works in a different manner by accelerating the passage of food from the stomach into the gut thereby preventing the build up of acid which is the reason for the symptoms that your baby presents. It is also an excellent antidote for Lactose Intolerance which your baby probably suffers from.

Let us start the therapy by giving 2 tablets to the mother half hour before each feed to see if her milk is accepted better by your baby. This therapy has often worked when the baby is at your son's age. She can safely take up to 4 doses per day and the bonus is that it will also help to reduce her weight by about 1kg per week.

If this therapy does not help you will then give him half a tablet immediately after a feed mixed into a little water or milk. This will help him to tolerate his feed and the results will visible immediately after as he will not show any signs of distress. The dose can be reduced down to quarter tablet and it will be given immediately after every feed and can be continued for a few days when his body will tolerate the feed without any additional assistance.

Report progress in 24 hours after you start this therapy aka 'Joepathy'.

Yesterday I took 2 tablets 30 minutes before each feed, but saw no improvement. We are trying giving him half a tablet after each feed today. I will let you know how that goes.

It is not always that Nat Phos 6x transfers in the Breast Milk to baby.

The half tablet will hopefully give better results.

I do hope that you have the Nat Phos 6x Biochemic Cell Salts. I mentioned this as some patients to whom I prescribed it got the little pellets which are the Homeopathic product which does not work to alleviate GERD.

It occurred to me to request you to continue with the dosage I prescribed for you as Nat Phos will reduce your weight by at least 1kg per week.

I am not sure if I have the pellets or cell salts. How can I tell? I bought Natrum Phos 6X from Boiron.

If you have the Nat Phos 6x in tablets all is well.

The pellets which are around 2-3mm in Ø are not the Cell Salt.

I have the pellets. How can I find the cell salts?

Since you have the pellets already and I would like to help your baby's reflux let us give 2 pellets to him after each feed and you can report his response tomorrow.

It is just after midnight here in Sri Lanka now.
