This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him ruta 30 or rhus tox 30 (preferably) at a gap of 1 hour. Later as he improves increase the gap to 2 hrs, 3 hrs and so on.

It was only yesterday that there was a similar emergency and I prescribed Arnica 6c to dissipate the bump on the head of another patient which you can read on

http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/284658/

Arnica 6c works by promoting the flow of blood in the body thereby helping the bump which is all clotted blood to be dissipated slowly.

Since your father is 80+ years old, I believe that he will benefit by taking Arnica 30c in the Wet dose throughout his life as it will help him in many ways especially by improving his motor functions.

You may like to know that I am 82 years old and I have taken Arnica 30c in the Wet dose for the last 16 years nightly and have proved that this remedy is indeed a miracle remedy as outlined in my article on my website

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Thanks Dr. Mahfooz,
Natrum suph was in my mind too but I feel it should be given in 200c once daily for three days.
Dr.Kent has strongly recommended it in head injury.

arnica should be the first remedy to think of 1m is what i would have given so that is very good. has the bump gone down and if he has effects afterwards describe them but def nat sulph is a remedy to look at!

The important question is, did the Arnica help?
