This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Ah that was my Cannabis indica case.

In that case, the previous remedies I gave had no real effect. They didn't unlock anything in my understanding. But the patient presented in a very intense acute state, which was so clearly matched to the Cannabis state, that selection of the remedy was extremely easy.

Once that remedy was given, the true chronic state became clear as well - he was obviously sycotic and needed Thuja, which he expressed very exactly in the next consultation. He always needed Thuja, but I could not see it until after his problem evolved into Cannabis, and then de-evolved back to Thjua.

So the answer, using this case as an example, is no. Those remedies I gave before Cannabis lead me nowhere and did not help me at all.

The only thing that ever helps me, is an objective view of the symptoms (and a patient that can express their symptoms well - cannot undervalue that!)

The amount of time you go back to your old state is not predictable. If your current remedy is healing you then it should be a very long time though, if at all.
