Chronic Sinisitus HELP - 15 yrs and no relief

I have been battling chronic sinusitis for the past 15 years and am now getting hopelessly desparate. I have sinus pressure and pain all day/every day that is pretty much localized to an area between mid-way between the right side of my nose and my eye. Very close to my tear duct area. What I experience is constant pain and pressure from the time I get up in the morning to when I fall asleep at night. And while we're on the topic of sleep, as a result of this condition, I never really fall asleep. I've been working off of about 5-6 hours of sleep a night for the last 15 years.
I have had several sinus surgeries. 6 to be exact and none of them have given me any relief. Now when I go to an ENT doctor when they look at the CT scan they say: "Everything looks fine, you shouldn't feel the way you say you feel". Then they want to pawn me off to another specialist. I've been to Allergists, Neurologists, and even Psychiatrists to try to treat this condition. I KNOW that it is my sinuses as I can hear the fluid as it bubbles when I move my nose or blow it. Some days are better than others but for the most part, every day I live with a pain factor of about a 6 or 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Please help me. I am at the end of my rope here.

I'm intrigued by some of the questions you have asked this patient. I have been suffering from allergic sinus pressure (or so my GP has diagnosed)since February and it's driving me nuts,OK for a few days then feel really rough, pressure across bridge of nose & head, full feeling in ears and dull ache around back of ears & neck, aching forearms but no mucous, all of this bringing on anxiety to start with. I'm new to all this and I didn't even know what or where sinuses were till recently. Do any of these characteristics make a difference to sinus problems and how?

Have had similar symptoms on and off for the past 10 years. I'm in agony right now thats why I'm on this site. I have never had any procedures, but as they dont seem to work, I'm glad. I have just finished a seven day course of antibiotics and I'm using the steriod nasal spray, but as usual 1 week isnt enough.

The past two times Ive been at my worst I have had great pain down the left side of my face where I just want to pull my teeth out.

What can |I do?

I am not an expert in anyway but just started doing nasal irrigation with NeilMed poducts. It's just salt ad sodium bicarbonate which you mix in warm waterand rinse thoug your nasal passages.

They sell it at Boots - it's brilliant and you feel great afterwards.

I urger you o try it - it's none chemical and can do you no harm - good luck
