High Fever
My son two nights ago woke up with a fever..... Super hot to the touch... Especially his stomach.... Temp was 102 taken from the ear. My family has a history of ear infections without usually showing any signs of ear pain. He is also 18 1/2 months so he he can not communicate if it hurts just assuming based on past experience. His nose seems congested but no visible signs just noticing he seems to breathing through his mouth and slight snoring. His temperature spikes at night and he kicks off all his covers. Trying to get away from antibiotics and hoping to use homeopathy for acute illnesses and would love to find a constitutional remedies for all members eventually.I started looking into homeopathy to help my 2 year old autistic daughter. We haven't had much successs or kind of stuck at the moment. Hoping someone can assist me in helping my family as a whole. In my daughters case take I think I found my constitutional and was told it was my daughter's as well but not so sure. If anyone could assist me I would be eternally grateful.

In 20 years of practice I have never seen a parent and child needing the same constitutional remedy so I think it will be unlikely.
However, it is very possible that your daughter's state (remedy) showed itself during the pregnancy. Often exploration of the feelings, symptoms, thoughts and stresses during pregnancy can reveal much that is useful in understanding the child. I have sometimes been able to make prescriptions purely on this basis and see them work well.

My son feels very cool to the touch... Thermometer is hidden but I think the fever has subsided but his nose congestion is very appearent as he is snoring. Will wait for further instructions.

He is still current sleeping. We are in upstate NY. We have one health store that carries homeopathic remedies. I've been looking into a kit to have here at home so remedies could be easily accessed upon need. I'm amazed at my son's improvement. I feel disenfranchised by western medicine which I foolishy followed. It took my second daughter who has delays to wake me up to how damaging everything was to her. She was fully vaccinated and I feel deep down that now plays into her current condition. I just wanted to say thank you for the gift of your time omin helping those in need. The homeopath I sought out was suppose to be an expert in Autism nut he was booked fr ip to a year so I went with a new person who he trained. My daughter was 2 1/2 at the intake eval via Skype.... So much of it turned to me and I think she found my constitutional remedy and the tought my state was passed onto my daughter due to the many stresses that occurred during my pregnancy. The fact is financially we can't afford the fees associated with this office and she stated she didn't have any thoughts in other remedies that might help. She did state one possible remedy that would come next so I will be trying it next. I want to say the names but don't want to cloud the picture.

My son seems to be doing great. The only remaining symptom seems to be possible stuffy nose which is only evident when sleeping and is snoring. No sign of fever I'm basing it on touching his forehead and stomach because with fever his body feels like it on his fire. Should I still obtain the previous remedy mentioned to clear the remainder of symptoms. I'm not sure if it matters he is cutting several molars... 3 and just had three other teeth pop in shortly before this. I'm not sure even about his nose because he seems to breathing clearly out of it now and the snoring greatly decreased as the night progressed. He is drooling more which I think is tooth related because it is not normal.

Just throwing an idea out could pulsatilla be indicated. I've been reading about the Pulsatilla child and my son very much wants to be held and comforted. Actually that remedy is what I will be trying with my second daughter.

Those two expressions are normal for children, and are indicated in many remedies. That isn't actually how we choose Pulsatilla.
I can take your daughter's case if you like, although you have to realise treatment of Autism is quite difficult even in face-to-face situations, and can take years to get them to a good healthy responsive point.
Also, remember that homoeopathic medicines can have side effects, so be cautious in giving them.

Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information. Note that some complaints may not lend themselves easily to answer each of these questions.
1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in her life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?
Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF HER HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE. You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide.
