Reflux in CP children

Reflux is common in children with CP. My son Jason, 2.5 is a severe spastic quad and has been taking Zantac for over 2 years and I would prefer to treat him naturally. He always has gas, constipation, reflux, diahrrea - always something going on with his tummy/bowels. I control his diet but I imagine his reflux is a result of lost tone in his stomach, sphincter and esophagus caused by a severe brain injury at 5 weeks. Irregardless, I want to stop giving him Zantac. Thanks to any who can help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Nat Phos 6x should help his digestive problem and you can give him 1 tablet after his food and it should relieve his gastric problems which should resolve themselves almost immediately after you use the first dose. If 1 tablet does not have the desired effect, you may increase the dosage to 2 for a day or two but do not exceed this dose due to his age. You may also change his diet till his system takes over with the assistance of the Nat Phos 6x.

Please note that this remedy must be the Biochemic Triturated salt Nat Phos 6x and not the Nat Phos 6c liquid remedy.

As for his problem with the brain injury I hope that others more experienced than me will please help.

Hi Joe - thanks, we have just returned from a few days a way so I just saw this. Will the Nap Phos 6x help with his constipation too (very bad for last two months). Thanks.

Also, re the brain injury, Jason lost 80% of his brain from a series of bleeds. I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to fix that, just want to make sure he's as confortable as possible and uses the 20% left to the best he can.

I am so sorry to learn that Jason is in severe distress.

I would like you please to read my post titled Arnica the Miracle Remedy at:

http://www.otherhealth.com/showthread.php?p=60529#post60529

I am not suggesting that you use the same remedy but I am convinced that I helped the 82 year old patient with Arnica 1M by re-eseablishing the blood supply to his brain and got him on his feet again after about a year.

There may be a very slender chance that it can help your son.

Nat Phos 6x will help with constipation also as it accelerated the passage of food through the gut and thereby helps to overcome constipation.

Hi Joe, please don't think Jason is in severe distress - he is actually doing quite well and is for the most part, very content. I look at his digestive issues as a "hierarchy of needs" thing, where if we can get those out of the way, he doesn't have to spend time/energy dealing with them and he can move on to other things. It might help to view his history on his website, but I can't seem to post this here. This may help you understand where he is. I can send you his webite URL privately if you like, and I really appreciate your help.

I am relieved to learn that Jason is not in severe distress. I naturally concluded that he was, when you stated that he has lost 80% of his brain from a series of aneurisms. This, I presume is very rare for a 2 year old baby.

I do hope that the Nat Phos 6x can help his digestive system and I would prefer if you use small doses at the start as I have never prescribed for a baby up to now.

I shall be very interested to learn more details about him from your website which you may send me by email on
