The ABC Homeopathy Forum

adhd/odd or not adhd/odd; please help!!

Hallo,

As you can read my previous post on 'very controversial child' I am just continuing the same topic under a different name that all the doctors can be able to view and and probably give me a feedback.

As you know respected Dr. Kempson provided me a solution from Animal kingdom, but as my son is not included in the violent category and more of partly 'spaced out' kid and partly 'easily provoked' kid, I am still eager about the remedy from plant or mineral kingdom.

Nux vom 200C did make him more aggressive, it could possibly because the dosage are wrong. I was giving him direct dry pallet so far. Sulphur worked for him, but I think his doctor gave him continuous dose of Sul 200C for 5 weeks (weekly dose) and also direct dry pallet. Last week he has taken Cal Carb, it seems like he is sometimes detached from other kids, sometimes mixing up, did not create argument with any of the kids for the whole weekend, ( He was exposed to a social circle for both days long hours). By the way he also saw shiny jewel type things, but did not show any bad impulses.

As you know he is homeschooling this year and I want to resolve this issue, means trying to find out a series of med that will help him in a sequence, that I can continue the process.

1. Daily 3 times Baryta Carb did shorten his tantrums, and bring a little conscious/ right judgement power in him, but it is too slow working. Does anybody has a case history that how long it takes for Baryta to see a visible result in age appropriate social maturity and right judgement?

2. Cal Carb 200c helped him to create boundary, makes a lot less talkative in social circle, but over sensitivity is still a big issue. Should I give him Cal Carb again this week or just watch? Also if symptoms are back, should I give him split wet dose or direct dry dose? Please help!!

3. I like to try Lycho/ Phos / etc. I need some suggestions and how and what dose.

4. After almost two moths can I try Sulphur again? What potency should I try and what type dose and what interval?

I think my doctor is definitely not aware of split or wet dose and did try a high potency first time, which worked partly and then stopped working.

Please help!!! I can provide more information if you need.

1. right now Follow direction is the main issue. He is spaced out, living in his own creative world, just this morning, he did number of creative projects by himself, but did not listen to his grandparents to finish up his assigned projects (he is procrastinating a lot, he will finish, I know, but will take probably whole day.) Other way he is disobeying his grandparents too, and I am concerned if this happens in school, off course they will force us to take him to psychopathic treatment.

2. He is going to argument only if somebody broke his creative stuff or somebody tells him something which he is totally against. Otherwise he is fine, when he likes he plays with other kids and very much trying to stay away if group-trouble arises.

Please help, I desperately need help about proper medicine and dosage.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Mirrorlight, who told you that animal remedies have to be violent?

Some of our most violent remedies are plants or minerals - Mercury is almost murderous, Anacardium very cruel, Chamomilla will hit you as soon as look at you - and so on. Violence does not need to be present in a case to prescribe an animal remedy, and violence often points to plant or minerals.

In fact, some of our most gentle remedies are animal ones - Cow's milk, The Dove, The African Tortoise to name a few.

The use of kingdom is a highly advanced aspect of homoeopathic prescribing - I don't believe you will be able yourself to eliminate remedies on that basis. It takes many years to be able to get a handle on that. Many homoeopaths are not even able to utilize this system.

I don't want that to sound elitist, but it takes a huge amount of practice with this system to be confident with it. I have been studying it for 8 years now, and I would say that I have only really been any good at it in the last 2-3 years.

I am happy to look at any aspect of the case you don't think Corv-c fits though.

If your only concerns are that the 'spaced out' and 'easily provoked' then that is easy to examine.

More Symptoms of Corv-c:

Mind, seems lost or confused in space and time
Mind, body and thoughts are separated
Mind, forgetfulness
Mind, time, loss of conception of

And from the actual proving of Corv-c (the experiment where we determine the symptoms it will cure):

Confusion
Concentrating difficult
Seems to be floating in a higher dimension
Seems to be off in space

Shrieking, screaming, with rage, during anger
Anger, easily
Anger with frustrated efforts **

The remedy as you can see still covers these things. I am unclear why you think my prescription won't help him. I have used this remedy before with success.

Hi, Dr. Reva V.--- I posted long before about my 7 years old who is not diagnosed yet, but practically speaking he has high functioning autism (Aspie), on top there is layer of ADHD (I believe).

Since last years homeopathy treatment his syphilic layer has been taken off with baryta carb-Sulfur, right now he is in the process of layering off his tubercular layer (for which he is using coffea cruda for attention and focus issues).

He is getting benefit out of coffea for his inattention-focus problem, but his behavior is not good enough, he gets very agitated when situation is changing or other boys or girls putting him into trouble (as he is almost as Aspie with very high intelligence, but zero social skill).

I tried cypre for behavior issues, it helped on that part, but it brings up lots of ideas and creativity in his brain/mind (that he can't control), so he can't provide objective focus which is must in school.

My question is, can Cypre be given in the afternoon and coffea cruda LM is given before going to bed or late evening?
Can these be continued together?

Dr. Reva V -- I am enthusiastically looking forward to your response, if both can be given in same day?

He got a detoxification with Apis Mel-30 for 2-3 days, it helped some.

But cypre is one of the fittest just like coffea, it is reducing over stimulation of his brain, he is behaviorally better than coffea, but attention wise worse than coffea.
