Help! A shell of my former self

Hello! I found this questionare posted earlier on the forums. I hope this helps. Any questions please ask and thank you in advance for helping me!

Sex: Female Age: 35

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering? Depressed, stressed out (constantly feel like I am in the grips of a fight or flight panic and I have to HURRY), lack of energy, inability to concentrate, forgetful, disorganized (i used to be extremely organized!!), irritability/quick to anger, tired and run down, I also suffer from panic attacks. I'm extremely nervous as well. I'm unable to lose weight no matter what I try.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? Headaches, shaky hands, easily bruising, cold hands and feet, my hair seems to be getting thinner. I lose a lot of it in the shower. (my thyroid and blood have been run and come back normal)

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? Very sad, hopeless, scared, just lost in general.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Lost, irritable, afraid, confused, angry, exhausted.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

A little over 13 months ago I had my second child. Shes doing great, but soon after her birth I was diagnosed with post partum depression. I cried a lot, I was panicked, I felt hopeless and extremely sad, and I did not feel connected to my baby at all :( I have not felt like myself since then. I feel like getting through every single day is a challenge. I used to love being a mom and spending time with my children. Now it takes everything to drag myself out of bed and to be in a good mood for them. I dont feel like I connect with my children or anyone anymore. I feel like I lose my temper with them over ridiculous things, and out of no where. I'm not myself and I need to get back to where I once was. My husband says I used to be a happy, playful person but I am not that anymore. He is right. I also used to love to sit back, relax and read, but I dont feel like I can do that anymore. My mind is constantly darting all over and I cannot concentrate on words. I had a very hard time organizing my thoughts to write this. I cant sit still for anything, and I feel the best when I am moving around and cleaning. I have trouble getting to sleep at night because my mind is constantly racing, once I do fall asleep I do not sleep soundly. I awake several times a night and in the morning I am still tired. Very cold when I try to fall asleep, need a lot of blankets. I feel like there is a hole inside me that needs to be filled with something. Always trying to buy things to make me feel better but it does not work.

6. Which time of the day you are worst? First 30 minutes after waking and then early evening (4-5pm)

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same? Moving, exercising, soaking in a tub all make me feel better. Feeling stuck in one spot makes things worse

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)? A few days before my period I am definitely at my worst. Anger becomes much worse and I find myself losing my temper and yelling about nothing, almost at the point of flying into a rage.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather? I like dry weather. 65 - 70 degrees or so with a nice breeze :)

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? yes, very sensitive to smells and noise level.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? one to 2 times a day, easy to move bowels.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I do not sleep well at all. Most comfortable starting on side, but I must have blankets or pillows between my knees. I always wake up on my back.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general? Haven't had much interest in sex

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all? I think I'm caught in a stress whirlwind and am unable to get out. I cannot relax or enjoy.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

I was on vitamin D for a while due to low levels, it seemed to help a tiny bit with my energy problems. My vitamin D level has since been found normal. I was on ignatia amara 30c for a few weeks. It was given to me by a breastfeeding doctor to help with the postpartum. It helped calm me a lot, I found I cried a lot less and felt less stressed, but I wasn't sure how long to take it for. I also tried zoloft, but after a week on it I could not sleep at night at all. I'm taking a multi-vitamin and an essential fatty acid blend right now. I am only able to take a half dose of the multi-vitamin, I get a headache with the whole dose.
