URGENT: Need to stop lactating

Ive stopped breast feeding 6 months back but am still lactating. Can someone suggest a remedy? Have tried Urtica, Pulsatilla and Lachesis. Nothing seems to work. Even tried putting cabbage leaves on locally but that doesnt seem to work either.
Somebody help!

Thanks for the reply.
Will try that straight away. How long do you think before I get some results?

not sure - it could be very quick if it is the right remedy.
If it doesn't work look up others that have the symptom 'galactorrhoea' - think I've spelt that properly!!

did you try the phytolacca?

Hi,
I just wanted to say that the longer you breastfed for the longer the lactation continues. I fed my first child for over 2 yrs and still had milk for over a year after that. Unless its causing dicomfort and distress then the actual lactation isn't something to worry about.

PS My neighbour used to gives bunches of parsley to her cows to dry them up, it could work for humans too.

It doesnt cause any discomfort but I could do without the weight in my breasts..and for them to stop sagging with the weight!

Hi,

Take Lac can 30, 5-6 pills on clean tongue, 2 times a day. Do not eat/ drink anything atleast for half an hour before and after taking the remedy.

Take care...

Two other remedies for stopping lactation are Urtica Urens and Asafoetida. A natural remedy is to apply a paste of chalk and vinegar on the breasts twice or thrice a day - leave on as long as possible, but at the least, let it dry - this is, of course if you have the time and convenience to try it.

Ive tried cabbage leaves on the breast..and that didnt seem to work. Ill try and get my hands on some vinegar and chalk. When you say asafoetida, do u mean take the powder which is used in cooking or does it come in medicine form?
Ive tried Urtica as well.
