pulsatilla 30

Respected Homeopaths

I am a long time sufferer of runny and blocked up nose with sneezing problem. Its been there for 3 years. I get sneezes randomly throughout the day but hard in the morning. it does not matter whether i am indoor or outdoors. the nose is usually on cold throughout.

At the moment i have been taking Pulsatilla in the power of 30 for over 22 days now but there is not a single relief from the problem.

I Have also used Natrium Maurticum for 2 two months.

This is not self medication. its on the advice of a homeopath.

Need Help!

You should not be taking a remedy for 22 days - a few doses is enough to know if a remedy will work. Your homoeopath should be reassessing and changing your remedy.

Has the homoeopath taken a full case. What you have given here would not allow anyone to make a prescription?

Eupatorium Perfoliatum 30c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily will help your problem.

This remedy is not listed in the classical Homeopathic texts and can be considered as a new discovery and an advance in Homeopathy.

Report your progress in a week after you start this therapy.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Thanks for your interest Mr. David and Mr. Joe

To Mr. David

Yes, My homeopath insisted to carry on with the remedy for at least 6 weeks. Throughout my time with pulsatilla there has not been any change, no aggravation or amelioration. I told this to my dr. he said to continue this until there is any change.

To Mr. Joe De Livera

To Mr David

The homeopath said that this is a chronic problem and will take some time to perish. therefore sticking to a remedy for a bit long will turn good results, he added.

He was wrong. That is not how homoeopathy works. Homoeopathy does not work on the basis of 'more is better', and in fact actually works on the basis that 'less is better'. Law of the minimum dose is one of our primary principles - you give only enough to create change in the patient, and you MUST assess the patient regularly to see if such change is happening.

It certainly does not mean if you give the wrong remedy long enough, something will happen. A practioner needs to be humble or honest enough to admit that their prescription is wrong, so that patients do not get harmed.

You are now appearing to mix several medicines together. This also breaks one of the cardinal rules of homoeopathy, law of the single remedy. There may be interactions and problems arising from doing so.
