6x/6d
What is the difference between both? Can one take the 6D when the doctor said 6X?[message edited by badshah19 on Wed, 02 Nov 2011 12:05:38 GMT]

''Decimal scale - D or X - one drop of Mother tincture is added to 9 drops of water/alcohol mixture
Centesimal scale - C - one drop of Mother tincture is added to 99 drops of water/alcohol mixture''
D and X seems to be the same
anyone confirm?

'Thus, 6X (or 6D) has been diluted 1:10 six times and 6C has been diluted 1:100 six times. Because of the small doses, almost all authorities assume that homeopathy is safe and will not interact with conventional drugs as long as patients also receive good conventional care.'

'The potency designation of a remedy simply denotes how many times the process of serial dilution and sucussion has taken place, and the dilutiona ratio used. So for example a 6x (or 6D in some countries) denotes that the remedy has been potentized 6 times, at a dilution ratio of 1:10, the decimal scale.'
