This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
When you doesn't care about getting cured. Remedy can be cause palliation for mental state or physical state.

Actually one (homeopath) should have to monitor direction of cure, then he can judge whether you are move towards cure or not.

Patient's disease will be getting less important and mental state getting better, feeling of been ill disappearing etc etc points that patient is moving towards cure.

Palliation wears off quickly - days usually before things start to reappear.

Suppression makes you worse overall - you wouldn't be seeing anything except a few local improvements.

Cure is stable, widespread, and lasts a long time. Really, if there are no ongoing outside triggers, it should last for years if not permanently.

The patient stops worrying about their disease when it is cured. A palliated patient keeps thinking about how it could come back. A suppressed patient doesn't feel cured they feel a lot worse in themselves.
