Hereditary Alopecia - What dose of arnica?

Joe De Livera recommends Arnica 6C two times a day. Once there is improvement I think that he recommends to reduce to one dose per day. I believe that it is 4 pellets at bed time and two pellets in the morning. He will probably answer you shortly.

I have suffered from hair loss since I was 23 years old and I am now 33. It is extremely hard, especially in the beginning.

I take Saw Palmetto berry extract in the herbal form 160 mg twice a day. This has helped a lot as well as progesterone cream days 7-28 of my cycle. These two things are very helpful to me. They reduce the amount of DHT in myh bloodstream and make my hormones more balanced. Incidently, I do not have elevated testosterone or free testosterone nor do I fall into the category of poly-cystic ovaries. Also, my diet has always been great, even as a kid. My blood sugar has always been normal as well. This is the most frustrating part about hair loss.

I know that the blood supply is compromised when there is androgenetic alopecia (hereditary hair loss) This is the principle mechanism involved in hair loss. Arnica increases blood flow thereby facilitating regrowth. I hope that you have success and know that you are not alone. I too am going to give arnica a try.

I am glad to note that more people are using Arnica for Hair Loss and Alopecia.

I have had reports that the new method I have recommended lately of the Wet Dose is more effective and I shall copy the method below:

Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100ml
Put 1 drop or 3 pellets of Arnica 6c into the bottle
Bang the bottle on a cushion and watch for the water to fizzle like when you open a bottle of soda.
This succussion should be done 4 times every time before you sip just 1 teaspoonful twice daily.

Please note that the treatment of these ailments is not possible on an instant fix method. You should first observe the slowing down of the hair loss and in about a month if everything goes well, new hairs should be observed.

I notice that there are different forms of arnica...is it arnica monatana or arnica montana radix that is needed for this

Question regarding the shaking...does the bottle get banged four times in a row and then you take a tsp...and each time you take a tsp you bang it four times?
This is to be poured into 400ml of water correct?

You need the Arnica Montana which is the flower. I have never used the AM Radix which is the root of this plant.

Yes, you succuss the water 4 times by banging preferably on a cushion as this provides the best visual effect of potentization. You use a 500 ml bottle of spring water from which you decant 100 to leave space for the water to be potentized with the shock wave created with the banging.
