side effect of Homeopathic med?
Hi, My kid was administered Cina 3rd dose . Her body has erupted in rashes - urticaria .Pls suggest remedy.

What was the Cina potency?

It needs to be assessed as to what has happened before action should be taken.
There are several possibilities here, and the reaction may not actually be a negative one. Much depends on what the situation is.
Firstly, does your child have a history of urticaria or rashes like this?
Secondly, did the Cina produce any kind of marked improvement, that either preceded or conicided with this rash?
Thirdly, has she developed any other completely new symptoms, or is she much worse in her self (generally)?
Lastly, has she ever had this kind of reaction before to medication, either orthodox or alternative types?
As Nawaz has enquired, the potency is an issue as well, as is the way in which you have been administering the dose.

She is 7yrs old.
Complaining of stomach pain mostly in the mornings and at times evenings/ afternoon.
So also has a bit of cross eyes ( negligible) and shortsightedness, grits her teeth at night, crankiness when wants something, else good natured, Lots of flatulence, scared of incests, fears being alone at night, hair loss in patches on scalp

Reoccurance of an old symptom on a homoeopathic medicine is considered to be an excellent sign.
Direction of cure may also be good, since a symptom in a more important organ (stomach) has moved outwards on to the skin (rash).
When an old symptom reappears, it is generally best to allow it to resolve on its own, since it is part of the process of cure.
Symptoms generally move from more important organs to less important ones as part of the direction of cure.
If it is part of this process, treating it seperately with orthodox medicines or new homoeopathic remedies is not usually a good idea unless 1. the patient is suffering to a high degree 2. the reaction goes on for more than a few days 3. the patient begins to develop a host of new symptoms (the whole case seems to change).
One issue is however the way you are dosing. There are two problems I can see.
One is that you are using the dry pillules for repeat doses, and this is considered to cause more aggravation. A medicine should always be given in liquid, a method known as Split Dosing. Giving pillules repeatedly will almost certainly produce side effects and aggravations to a much higher degree.
INSTRUCTONS FOR SPLIT DOSING
Firstly, you need to create a separate dosing bottle. Get a bottle with a dropper, 15-30mls in size, and fill it with a mixture of water and alcohol (5 parts to 1 part). Dissolve 2 granules or 2 drops of the medicine you bought from the pharmacy into this mixture. Your doses will be made from this bottle.
Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of your hand, or another elastic surface like a book. It should be a firm hit not a tap. 2 hits is enough to begin with, and should not be increased unless it is clear that it is needed. The water in this bottle will 'remember' the number of times you have hit it, so that subsequent doses will be stronger (necessary to overcoming the resistance of your disease).
Place 1 drop into an amount of water - I may start with anything from 1/4-1 full cup (62ml-250ml) depending on the sensitivity of the patient. Stir thoroughly and take 1 teaspoon into the mouth. Throw the rest of the cup away.
This is one dose. Repeat doses would be started from the 2 hits on the bottle.
Each step of this process can be adjusted to reduced aggravation or to increase the effect of the medicine. In order to be able to do this, it is important to measure each step (count the hits, the drops, measure the water etc).

Yes only 1 potency was given Have checked with the homeopath and he confirmed Cina 200.
Since the urticaria / Hives was not settling and was really bad & the itching was unbearable, he changed the medicine to Nat Phos 30 last night 1 dose daily. Have given her only 1 doze only last night
Her rash seemed to have settled down by this morning. Hopefully she remains fine today.
