The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Suffering from Grade II esophagitis and Silent GERD since 3 months.

I have been diagnosed with Grade II Esophagitis (one linear mucosal break present at the lower end of the esophagus found during Endoscopy) and therefore GERD. It has made my life hell evn though i dont have the classic symptom of GERD i.e., heartburn.

My symptoms are as under:
1) constant burping/belching ( forced burping to relieve gas all the time)
2)bloating after meals ( which is relieved somewhat after taking ENO)
3) Rapid hearbeats( especially if i lie down in the afternoon after lunch then i can feel my heartbeat....it is almost ok otherwise during the day.I have also noticed that the heart rate comes down after taking eno.)
4)Slight pain in the chest which comes and goes on days.
5)If i try to too much of forced belching to relieve gas then food comes to my mouth otherwise not.

I am 28 years old and i had suffered with an H.Pylori attack 2 years back which was even more severe. I had taken triple therapy antibiotics(14 days) and PPI's( 2 months) to get back to normal. I had been perfectly fine since then with no issues until recently. Please help me....

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I shall copy my default therapy for GERD and after you have used it for a couple of days please report your response.

It is very likely that you are suffering from Gastritis aka GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux disease) and I shall copy the therapy I have prescribed to hundreds of patients who presented GERD, the large majority of whom have been cured.

Your remedies are as follows:

Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.

You can expect relief from your ailment hopefully within 24 hours.
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry. Do not drink more that a few sips of water after your meals. This is to prevent the further dilution of your gastric juice which can then reflux into your Esophagus which results in GERD.

It is important that you do not go to bed for at least 2 hours after dinner as food will take about this time to digest and it is best to stay awake and upright to enable your food to digest before going to bed.

No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.

If you suffer from a stomach ache or you feel your stomach puffing up before a meal during the day between meals this is usually due to hunger pains, caused by your gastric juices attacking the inner wall of your stomach. The simple remedy is to eat some food like a biscuit or a banana to keep the gastric juice away from digesting the stomach wall when you will experience a stomach ache which in some cases can be very acute.

You must drink at least 3 liters of liquids, preferably water daily and you must also exercise for at least half hour daily to sweat it out as this is all part of my therapy to overcome GERD.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Liquid Alcohol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

Thanks for your reply Joe,

I live in Delhi....can you please suggest from where can i procure these medicines?

Also currently I am on Rabeprazole 20Mg once daily.Should I continue with it along with 'Joetherapy'.

I run/brisk walk for about 8 kms every evening and it relieves me of my gas quite a bit.....is it enough? I have been told that I should practice pranayama for 30 mins as well in my daily routine...

Also, I am a vegetarian but eat eggs once a week....should i stop that as well? I have already stopped taking tea, coffee and alcohol completely since the last 3 days and now i am taking small meals and chew them for a longer duration to make it completely soft before i take it in.

I drink about 1.5 ltrs of water in the morning and flush it out. The water turns yellowish and bubbly in colour when i flush it out and it clears my stomach for a few hours till i eat again....should i continue with this practice?

I live in Sri Lanka and cannot guide you to purchase your Homeopathic remedies in New Delhi

You must STOP all PPI drugs if you wish to be cured of your Esophagitis and GERD. This drug is considered to be dangerous to be used in the long term and you can read the dangers by typing 'The danger of PPI Drugs' into Google.

You do not have to stop eating your normal diet.

You may however increase your dosage of Nat Phos 6x to a maximum of 6 tablets taken after meals as in the event that you are only taking 2 after a meal this is not sufficient to cure you. You must however be warned that if you take 6 tablets you may experience a mild diarrhoea which will stop when you reduce the dosage.

Do not forget to take the Arnica 30c in the Wet dose thrice daily to cure the damage in your Esophagus caused by the reflux of acid.
