Nail Fungus ? Please help

I am having for years now some type of nail fungus on my right big toe nail. Am not sure that is fungus but my toe nail is discolored (spots of dark color), it is also weak , like soft(not strong as they other toe nails)and it seems that it does not grow as fast as the others.
Can somebody advise me?
Thank you.
