Psychosis

My cousin sister (19 years old). She has a history of epilepsy (last attack on 2005 and under medication till 2008) and is not a normal child, very childish and immature. Never tried homeopathy till date. Now, it started 25 days back when she suddenly started complaining of sleeplessness, disbalance of left hand (avoiding it for any work like combing hair, wearing dresses etc.) and laughing without reasons. She had measles three months back and had taken medicines for that. Now, treatment started and all kinds of neuro tests were done (mri, ultra scan, eeg) without results - all negative. Her forelimbs (hands) shiver all the time, fingers moving in air constantly even when she is sleeping, face gets distorted badly, lips move and get drawn inside and she keeps saying stories of some boys teasing her in college, some boy she loves but doesnt want to take risks about, etc. She came to Nimhans and was treated with an injection from the psychiatric department(don't know the injection name) and then the symptoms got somewhat reduced (started sleeping a bit, movement of hands and face distortions reduced). But she started passing urine and stool without knowledge, cries for her dad who expired last year, has no thirst or appetite. And she keeps trying to pull off her clothes, has got naked multiple times even in front of people, hands keep travelling towards the private parts and she keeps looking at them with a strange interest. All day, she is drowsy but not sleeping, eyes blinking and hands moving to adjust the blankets or dresses and sometimes she will smile as if she is in the middle of some dream. She has not spoken for 2 weeks (other than once when she complained of those teaser boys) and occassionally with unclear speech and is crying for the last 2 days when we fail to understand what she says. She identifies everyone around her.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give her three doses of Hyoscyamus 200 as follows and report back after 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Hi Dr. Karwa,
It felt great to see your response. I have one small question though - she is presently undergoing a psychiatric treatment in nimhans and the patient's own family might not be ready to stop that. So would it be possible to administer the homeopathic medicine even during this treatment and still get the best results?

Sincerely yours,
Debraj.

Yes. The homeopathic remedy may be given alongwith the allopathic treatment. It is better to do so than not giving the homeopathic remedy.
