will Arnica help me?
Please can anyone offer me some advice?I had a hysterectomy almost 6 years ago, used hrt patches until 17 months ago, but (wrongly)came off them in a panic,due to bad press reports.
The doctor would have intended weaning me off the patches over the next year, as I was on a high dose, but anyway, once he knew I'd come off them, he told me I might as well carry on, although he personaly would have lowered the dose, a bit at a time.
Anyway, sorry to ramble, but although I've had all the usual awful symptoms, fuzzy brain, hot flushes, etc (still having them!! the one thing I've noticed is my thinning crown..help! my hair has never been my crowning glory, and I'm mortified.Feel like hiding away.
The doctor I saw a couple of weeks ago was useless, and offered me the hrt again, so I vivited a homeopath, and she gave me 3 pills to take over 24 hrs (estrogen) and I've got to take silica 5 times a day, which I've been doing for about 9 days.
I'm very interested in some of the threads on the forum suggesting arnica 6c, whould this be ok for me, and would it be ok to take with the silica.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You may use Arnica 30c for a month and see if it can stop your loss of hair which as you state is caused by the lack of estrogen. This remedy cannot replace the hormone but it may help to reduce the loss of hair.
The method of using Arnica 6c is as follows:
Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100ml from the bottle.
Put in 3 pellets or 1 drop of the remedy into the bottle.
Bang the bottle hard on a cushion and watch for the water to fizzle like it does when you open a bottle of soda. This is called succussing and it must be done 4 times before every dose. This raises the potency of the remedy slightly.
Sip 1 teaspoonful of the potentized water from the bottle twice daily.
Store the bottle in the fridge and ensure that it is succussed before every dose.
Please report results in a month. If it does not work,I can suggest another remedy which may help.

At the moment, I'm taking Silica, given to me by my homeopath, and to be used until 14th July, when I visit her again.
As this remedy can't be used in conjunction with anything else, I'll have to wait until the Silica treatment finishes, then I'll certainly be giving the arnica a go.
