swelling in external pile
hi,i once had bleeding due to pilesaround 4 years back. then a homeopathic doctor had prescribed a medicine which cured the problem. After that i always had a small protusion of skin( around 1/4th cm) outside the anus which i think may be an external pile. It does not pain nor did bleed. then last year in sept the small protusion suddenly swelled and became big. There was no bleeding but only pain specially more during passing stools. Also the pain had spread up n around the rectum also. There was stinging & sharp piercing pain while passing stools. it was then that a honey bee stung me accidently after which by the next day morning the pain had totally gone down and the protusion returned to its normal size. i guess the honey bee sting cured. I had discussed this earlier on this forum. For around 9 months the problem dint return. But it came back mildly once or twice when I tried apis mellifica 30 c n I got cured instantly with two or three doses. But I did not continue the medicine other than those two or three doses. It reoccurred 2 months back in oct when apis mel dint work I tried sulphur & nux vomica which worked. I again have the problem n this time none of the three seems to be working. I have sharp stinging pain in the rectum while & after passing stool & a discomfort afterwards which gets worsened when sitting and this time there is a bit of itching also & there was once a little blood. There is also a discomfort sort of pain in the stomach while passing stools & discomfort above the navel & below sometimes. I do not generally have constipation. But I do think that I have an irritable bowel syndrome as I have to go to the bathroom 2 or three times in the morning sometimes & have pain in stomach before that. This happens for some days in a row then stops. The external pile is on the front side of the rectum centrally located but a little to the right. What is causing the pile to swell n pain again & again. Once the swelling goes down there is no pain. I cannot see it but as far I can feel it it swells up to a cm. Please suggest what I should take to feel better. Is it actually an external pile or is it something else.

There are two possibilities here. Either the Apis is right but you have not used the correct potency to stop the reoccurance, OR it is palliating/suppressing the haemorrhoid (not curing it).
To be sure, I would suggest taking 1 single dose of Apis 200c. If this does not help a full and proper case needs to be taken to find the correct remedy.
If after taking Apis some symptoms were not cured, it does suggest that it is not the right remedy for you.

around 31st jan apis mel 200c. i had taken sulphur 30c(2 to 3 doses) around 3 to 4 days back before taking apis mel. nux vomica30 c around 4 days back, have been taking apis mel 30 c on & off seems to work at least little better than the 200 one.

ok ive taken ruta around 6 to 7 doses till now. initially after taking two doses the pain had increased for few hrs but has considerably decreased after that. But one thing my stool had become more solid the first two days. but now its become a bit softer since yesterday. the external pile is till there. but pain is less & also less while sitting. Also the pain has decreased in some points. should i continue with ruta? And thanks again for the medicine

i dont know if its called swelling but what i meant by swelling in the first post was that the pile had increased in its usual size size. from around 1/4th cm to around 1 cm. Also it increased in width also. generally when it was not enlarged it did not pain it was just like normal skin. rt now i dont think it has reduced in size its still around 1 cm.
i have hypericum. calendulla Q means liquid rt?. i can get that but i was applying calendulla ointment till a few days back. Also as of today the sharp stinging pain & cutting pain has decreased considerably like it is only about 10 to 15 % of what it was before

also i dont know if its imp or not but if u rem u had treated me for a rash with arsenic alb 2 months back. rash was due to a allergic reaction to diclofenac. that time it had reduced but again resurfaced for a day or two due to monthly cycle after that i went thru another cycle but the rash did not reoccur that time but this time since 2 days the same rash has appeared on the hand specially on the left one. & there is little itching below the chin. i do not know if it is due to mc or anything else. ive sometimes heard of old problems resurfacing while treatment.
