I have posted twice, regarding my dauthter's recurrent strep throat, and over use of antibiotcs, I feel I am being backed against the wall to give her the antibiotic (which sadly I have) because she is getting so much worse, I tried Belladonna but do not have enough knowledge to know if I am helping her or making her sicker. Doctors here say she has to use Antibiotic, for the 4th time since May 15th!I know in my heart this is not the best for her, but I do not want this going to scarlet fever or Rhumatic Fever. I have no where else to turn as she is so sick and can't get her in as a new patient with homeopath on a asap basis. Please, if you have any suggestions, I would be so grateful! She is just so sick, AGAIN!

If in emergency (and this is) online treatments do not make sense!
Antibiotics are overused-but sometimes they are necessary-of course (my advice is) give her antibiotic asap!
Since antibiotics also kill good bacteria give her probiotics --acdophilus,lactobacillus, hope she likes yogurt-get her one with live bacteria.

I have your other posts-concer about antibiotics and really seems that they hardly work since you have to repeat them.
She really needs a good homeopath to see her.

Thank You so much both for answering me! I have started the antibiotics and do see a slight improvement, she actually is eating a little, I have little faith in the anitbiotics, but if at this point it will keep the strep from progressing and suppress the symptoms enough to make her well enough to see the homeopath that would be great.
It kills me to give them to her. I did per her on kids probiotics after the last dose. Thanks again both for your replys, I do not feel so alone and defeated.

mitmitt-it's not that people here do not care-they do, but it is just impossible to treat such urgent case online.The most important thing is what's best for your daughter and you are doing the right thing. Antibiotics supress symptoms and do not really cure (as you can tell)-that's why homeopaths do not like them, but sometimes-like now-they are necessary. And meanwhile you may set appointment with homeopath.After you are done with antibiotics you may always start homeopathic treatment.
Except probiotics give her lots to drink. (best is pure, spring water--NEVER give her distilled water without minerals, and never give her sugar as it weakens immune system).

Astra 2012, Thank you for your reply. Please forgive me if I implied that no one seemed to care, I was desperate and am new to the Homeopathic approach to healing and taking care of one self. I did not expect to be in a urgent situation such as this before I even had our first appointments with the Homeopath, The thought of putting my daughter on her 4th antibiotic in a month in a half was making me crazy with panic! But I guess at this point I had too, and just needed to hear it from someone else who understands the risks of antibiotics, thank you again! About the distilled water, I buy by the gallons, no minerals added. I give my daughter reverse osmosis, is this ok? I will stop buying the gallons of distilled.

I don't know the kind you are drinking-but the reverse osmosis also leaves minerals behind.
Give her only water with minerals (not neccessarily with bubbles! I drink lots of water, e.g. Trinity, Evian, Fuji etc in the usa-but in gallons here are Deer Park, Poland Springs which also are ok-but I do not like gaseous)).
But not without minerals!
(distilled water or filtered via reverse osmosis is ok ONLY if they add some minerals.
