Laryngeal Paralysis / back-end weakness in Dog

Hi there,I am hoping for some advice.

I have a Leonberger who has had 2 tie-back operations (over 18 months) to address his bi-lateral laryngeal paralysis. He also had some calcified tissue removed from his throat to further increase air-passage. This has all worked well for him, but I am now beginning to see further degradation of his condition.

Because of his breathing he only gets short, easy walks, but I am now beginning to see a weakening of the muscles in his hind legs; he is struggling to stand up from sitting and sometimes scuffs his toes when walking (ie his foot is rolling over, rather than being placed flat on the ground.)

I understand that this is all associated with the Vagus nerve functionality and associated with this he also suffers from acid reflux. We try and manage this through his diet (raw fed and never vaccinated), although he does get Nat Phos, Pulsatilla and / or Lycopodium (all at 30c) during any episodes.

After his throat op he has been left with an open tracheotomy hole, which doesn't seem to bother him, although weeps a sticky sweet moistness.

He is ten and still otherwise doing great. He still wants to play and has only moderate arthritis, particularly in back left knee.

He has recently developed a cow dairy sensitivity (brings on acid reflux, which is a shame cos he LOVES cheese!!!) but seems to be okay with goat's milk. Hi prefers the cool and will sit oustide all day.

I would be grateful if you could recommend any homeopathic rememdies which may support him, however if you require any furhter information, please let me know.

Many thanks.
