Question about a Homeopathic Term

I was going through a Homeopathic Article on ONOSMODIUM and I read something which I dont understand which is

It produces diminution of sexual desire in both sexes; hence its homeopathicity, in SEXUAL NEURASTHENIA.

So what does this mean? does it diminishes the sexual desire or is this remedy is used in Sexual Neurasthenia (Psychological sexual disorder)?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homoeopathy = the Law of Similars. What a substance can cause it can cure.

So Onosmodium can both cause and cure sexual neurasthenia.

David, you are absolutely right but This remedy is to be used with great care as it is not only a very deep acting but violent medicine & creates severe aggravation.
It is always safe to reconfirm the drug picture before it's use.
My experience with this remedy was not a very pleasant one.

I would never suggest someone self prescribe it. I am very much against that. Only let a professional prescribe homoeopathy for you.
