dr pls help me
dear doctor my mother she has got diabetes and her diabetes is very high its around 270 after food and before food 200 and she has got pain in her legs so pls help me doctor wat medicine shuld be given to bring down the diabtes .vinodag on 2012-01-14

Great to see that you are caring for your mother's health.
She should strictly follow the diet as suggested by her doctor and the medicine they prescribed. There should not be any break in it. The sugar should be constantly monitored and their medicine should be adjusted accordingly, by your doctor.
In addition to the above medicine, you can give ARNICA 30, in wet dose, twice a day for a month and report back.
How to prepare and give wet dose is given in my profile.

As I have treated so many diabetic patients before and got success but never noticed any Dr. of my country to give Arnica to them bcs I never found Arnica so useful in diabetics anywhere in meteria medica.
If u think I can help u vinodag than provide her urination and health structure situation and food habit, digestion and stooping condition description to me here. I think I can help u out from this problem.
Untill I suggest u medicine to reduce blood sugar level u may give her Avena Sat Q to protect her kidneys from being failure due to excessive pressure for high blood sugar. Ten drops after 30 min from meal 3 times a day with a little warm water.

doctor her urination is normal not much not less its normal , and health wise she is 50 k.gs , and working at home going for walk everyday morning and evening and about food she eat one chapati with vegetable around 11 .o clock in the morning and then around 1.30 she takes quuacker oats around two spoon everyday which is prepared in boiled water with salt according to taste and then she takes her meal by 3 o clock rice one bowl of rice with vegetable and d aa l, and evening she takes tea and 2 biscuits around 6 o clock and in the night around 9 she takes again one chapati with vegetable and in night she takes one glass of warm milk with the HORRLICK,S that,s all her about food ,digestion is normal doctor . doctor she has got hernia in her left side which is swollen and now a days she is complaining for leg pain both the legs one of doctor prescribed her three remedy which i am writing down here passiflora incarnataQ,crategus oxyacanthaQ , rauvolfia serpentinaQ company name is DR W illmar , and once she complaint me about the leg pain so i gave her acidPHOS q which she is taking right now all these medicine for diabetes so PLEASE suggest me good medicine an if u say then i can start giving her AVENA sat q all these medicine she takes before food 30 minutes so pls suggest me good medicine thanking u doctor and one more thing i am giving her dr joe medicine arnica 30 wet dose bt dont find any useful with tht .

As far as I know they are mainly used usually for High blood pressure patients not for high diabetics patients, may b that's y u got no improvement of her till now. Arnica also works really good for patients of heart disease. But I really never experienced anything improving for diabetic patients using Arnica till now though I agree with madam Reva V it is really a miracle medicine for some factors. I wil also try to use if I have any opportunity to found it useful for diabetic patients.
Questions to u: What is her present weight?
Does she take insulin injection?
How is her skin?
How is her sleeping?
Is she loosing her weight after diabetics?
Is she a High Blood Pressure patient?
She got about no function of her pancreas, Y? What for long time happened that she loose her pancreas function this much badly?
My Suggestion for patient:
Start Avena Q and Calc Phos 6X and Calc Flour 6x. Start Avena as I told u before and give her Calc Phos and Calc Flour each 4 tabs Thrice a day with warm water of a cup mixture and tell him to walk at least 15 min continuously after every 2-3 hours. She must have to walk fast continuously for at least 45 min daily after dinner at night. Answer My Questions to have more powerful medicine containing prescription from me for her.
If She has no heart problem thn immediately stop her Passiflora, Crategus, Rawolfia, Arnica and all other medicines. If she takes Insulin injection thn continue it as it was told bcs she has to take homeopathic medicines marching with insulin injections continuously at this very alarming emergency stage. Day by day her sugar level decreases we will leave than insulin injection in future.

hello doctor even i dnt understand abt those medicine doctor cos they r no were related to diabetes even i ahve gone through materia medica so i needed help from experts ..
1) her present weight is around 51 kgs doctor ,
2) no doctor she dnt use insulin like she had infection due to cold by tht time doctor gave her insulin for one month to bring down her infection and now she dnt take as doctor told her to discontinue once the infection is cured .
3)doctor she has got skin problem like before she had eccezama now she has gt itching and her skin becomes black and rough .
4)sleeping is good there no problem in her sleep .
5)no doctor her weight is same from around 6 yrs she had a problem thyroid problems so her weight increased but when she started taking thyroid tablet after consulting doctor again her weight came to normal .around 51

Gymnema sylvester Q 15 drops at evening 30 min before lunch.

doctor showrav as per prescribed by you i have given my mother all the medicine as per you the medicine which u told for diabetes is given and you told me to check her diabetes every week on 18/01/2012 i started the medicine and today i have cheked the diabetes its 208 before food and after food 226 so there is no change in her sugar level on 18/1/2012 her sugar level was 212 and 224 . so i feel i must wait and continue with the same medicine ..wat do u say doctor showrav ..?

I m watching some improvement that u may see the difference between 18-1-12# 212-224 and today at 26-1-12# 208-226.
Lower count of blood sugar is most important reading when we r measuring diabetics bcs it is taken in empty stomach which is the genuine reading of her body blood level. Bcs the Upper count is taken after food and sugar increasing also depends on food difference. So dont be worried about 226 reading. The reading is positive and we got some improvement with scoring 4 points. Dont worry, just wait and hang on like that bcs it starts a bit slowly but after starting it lowers the level like magic. Also this high diabetic patient having lowering 4 points in 1st week is not less than magic brother!!
U must have to hold one for one month.

dr showrav i knw homeopathy medicine works slow even i am glad tht her sugar level is bit down so i must conitnue her diabetes medicine which is prescribed by u and doctor wat abt thyroid medicine she started taking after a week so it must continue i suppose .

Is the thyroid medicine so essential for her. bcs at our metaria medica it is said about thyroid medicine that it could cause diabetics. So I prefer to avoid this medicine unless her sugar level is controlled.

Try Calc carb 30c at morning and evening before 1 hour from meal at empty stomach two doses in a day instead of giving her thyroid medicine. It will lower her appetite, weight and as well her diabetics sugar level of her blood very quickly. try that for one week and report me.

dea doctor as i have cheked her glucose level its bit high its 215 before food and after food its 269 and her thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is 23:20 it should be ( 0.30 to 5.5 ) is the range given so tell me doctor shall i start giving her thyroid tablet .pls advice me on this regard ..

I strongly suggest to resume the Thyroid medicine, given by her doctor and stop or reduce only if the blood TSH /T3/T4 shows it (after Homeopathic medicine stimulates the gland). As you may know, it is very risky to leave the patient unmedicated for throid for the fear of side effects.

Stop giving her Calc carb and give a dose of Sulpher 200c at morning empty stomach and than report me. U can start giving her Thyroid medicine.
Honestly peaking that it is so tough to continue Homeopathic medicine marching along with Alopathic medicines without seeing a patient directly. It is really next to impossible to do someones treatment like that by homeopathy. So my suggestion is that pls find a good homeopath in ur local area and visit him for ur mother. This will be the best for her.
