Difference between potencies?

Ok, I think I have figured out that 200c and 200k are different, but what is 200ck?? I have seen this many places. Is it the same as 200c? Or 200k? Or neither? Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It just represents a different way of making the potency. K = CK (Centesimal Korsakoff), they just often leave the C off. C is actually more accurately written as CH (Centesimal Hahnemann).

In CH a new vial is used for each step (1c-2c-3c etc), whereas in CK the same vial is used over and over, with a small amount left in the vial each time to carry over for the following potency step. CH is more precise in its measurement, CK is not. Whether this makes any difference to the final product is not known.
