extreme muscle soreness, twitching

Muscles all over my body are extremely sore, I experience twitching randomly,mostly when I lie down. Simple tasks like typing this note, causes pain and tiredness to my biceps. There is one point on my right biceps that hurts most when I type, lift weights etc. I can also feel the strain on a couple of points on my shoulder blades. My muscles, sp my right arm biceps are tired and painful if I even lift my handbag, hold the steering/wheel when i drive. When I sit on a chair, muscles in my legs are getting strained and I can feel my body shake very slightly. Lying down is comfortable and I feel good when I get up, as long as I do not lift anything, do any work with my arms. Even my core muscles, deep, posture holding muscles, sp abdominal muscles, are sore and they hurt if I lift anything like dishes. plates etc. When I stretch my palm, I feel strain on the muscles between fingers. My neck muscles are extremely tense, including the ones below jaw bones. I have trouble falling asleep, some nights. It feels like some part of me is awake.some nights I sleep very well. At times, I get a weak feeling in my stomach and then start to shiver, sp my lower jaws. The shivering subsides after a while, once I cover with blanket, sweater etc. There is no joint pain, even though all the muscles around my arms and below my armpits hurt when I press.

The problem started in the 1st week of dec. I was having difficulty sleeping. On dec3, 2011, I took my kids to a kids' carnival and carried a heavy bag on y shoulders(mostly right). i did not feel anything in particular that night. On dec 6th we took a 2 1/2hrs flight to visit a place with kids' theme/amusement parks. That night I had extreme twitching, particularly in my legs and I could not sleep even though I was extremely exhausted. during the day time for the next 6 days, we were walking all day, sometimes pushing children in their stroller. etc. We got home in a week and I saw my primary care physician who tested my magnesium level and found it to be fine, along with calcium. i have low B-12(250) and low ferretin(11)levels, haemoglobin is always 12. I have also tested positive for Hashimoto's disease and was on herbal calcium, herbal glandular support and herbal thyroid maintanance formula. My TSH is in normal range. I have stopped the herbal supplements for the time being.

I saw 2 chiropractors who have not helped. I have just started physical therapy(with masssage). I felt relief right away. But simple tasks like cooking, cleaning, doing laundry etc have put me back to where I was. I noticed recently that when I press the points on the back of my palms, I am getting relief from twitching and falling asleep is easier.

Is there any homeopathic remedy I can take to heal my muscles?

13)Tend to get very thirsty. If I do not drink atleast 8 glasses of water during day, I wake up to drink 1-2 liters of water at night. Sometimes I have wondered why my thirst does not get quenched
14) slight white quoting in the morning. If I eat a lotof sweets, a strange taste/numbs like feeling lingers in my tongue for 1-2 hrs.

16) In my first post-all muscles in my body are tense, can't do any chores at home, can't lift even a hard bound book. Day to day life affected. also slight swelling in palm as when nerves get pinched.
20) i tend to worry if there is something terribly wrong.
21) during our recent vacation for a week, I was under extreme stress- my older daughter has allergies and asthma and we were never ableto stay at a hotel as the bedding affected her. was extremely worried if she would get her allergies. That stress played a big part in the mess that I am in.

I tend to get late for all appointments, sometimes to get things ready for school etc. So I am always in a hurry, i think i enjoy being in a hurry deep inside me. I had gotten lazy, that has improved with Herbal Gladular and thyroid support. But I have recently started worrying if all the discomforts in the body could some major disease. I look online for info and get more worried. Since last 2 days- i started doing yoga again-I am feeling more confident and positive. I am health conscious -when it comes to my family. I always cook fresh food even though I do not hesitate to cook the same food items everyday. My house is quite a bit disorganised. I am ok with it. As long as things are clean and hygenic mess does not bother me. i have often wished I was more motivated.
35) whole body, right arm more than left, all muscles in the body, including neck, base of head. some muscle pinching, twitching when ther eis an exertion from lifting even the smallest weight or holding steering of car while driving. Neck muscles are extremely tight.

Dear Nawaz ji,

Thanks so much for your advice and good wishes. it's easier for me to get tablets/pellets. i can start tomorrow itself. The liquid version will take atleast 3 days to get to me by post. Pl advice.

Dr.Khan I really appreciate your best selection of medicine for twitching of muscles etc. But I am of the opinion that Mag.Phos-6x being tissue salt will prove worth and its repititation with short intervals say 2 hourly 4-6 tablets per dose in a luke warm water.

A complementary medicine can also be given i.e. passiflora inc.Q(10 drops three or four times a day)

Hopefully this will recover the patient more efficiently.

But it is upto you to advice.

Yes, you may get in pellets. Then, just dissolve 4 pellets in 1/4 cup of mineral water to prepare one dose.

Dear Dr.Nawaz,

it's tremendously helpful that i can take the pellets.

one problem, unrelated to my muscle situation , that i did not mention is - I get clear phlegmm coming up my throat at regular intervals - 15 mts to half hr(the amount increases when I consume more milk and dairy as I am doing now). when I wake up in the morning i have to sometime give a half cough to bring it up. At that time it is more solid. Very rarely I get very small pellet like, yellow, foul smelling, more solid, round thing coming out of my mouth. I have had this since my teen years. I had taken a homeopathic remedy per a doctor in India. It stopped and after a few years, the problem started again. My wBC is always around 10. I know this is unrelated to my current issue, just wanted to let you know in case it made any difference.
