Pilonidal Cyst

I have a problem that I have never been to the doctor for, partially because I cannot afford any treatments or visits (no insurance). Also, in part, because our doctors up here are big on giving out pills and I don't want to be tempted.

When I was 18, I started noticing a very small slit between the crease of my anus. Very small. Over the years, it has gotten bigger and bigger. Additionally, just recently, I have noticed a small hole above the crease of my anus, which drains a lot of pus and blood mixed. I have, in fact, for 3 years, had stained underwear and a foul smelling pus, sometimes worse than others.

It usually does not hurt, almost never. Today and yesterday it has become uncomfortable to sit.

It's been about 5 years now that I have had this. Any homeopathic advice?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Myristica 200 daily in the evening for 7 days and report back.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Nawaz:

Thanks for the opportunity to provide more information:

1. ID: Dollymaniac
2. Age: 22 and a half
3. Sex: Male
4. Single/Married: Single
5. weight: 225 (but going down)
6. Height: 5 feet 5 inches
7. country: United States
8. climate: I live in Virginia, so it goes from hot summers to cold winters. Currently, it is winter, but a mild one--temperatures around 40-50.
9. List of your complaints:
Between the buttocks, there is a half-finger sized in length split (this stains my udnerwear) at the upper part of my buttocks. Above my buttocks, I recently noticed a small pen-point sized hole that pus/blood comes out of. It has always smelled fouled back there. I have had this for about 5 years. Now, near the pen-point sized hole. if I touch that area it is sore (not beyond belief, but sore). And sitting is uncomfortable (not unbearable, but uncomfortable).

10. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint
The half-finger sized slit-like fissure thingy, 5 years. I feel like the pen-point hole thing is 3 days.

11. Diabetic or non-Diabetic
Not that I know of

12. Desire sweets/sour/salt
Yes, but depends on the day--I a starting to slowly cut back

13. Thirst
My thirst does not seem abnormal to anyone else

14. Tongue and Taste
Fine

15. Current BP (without medicine and with medicine)
132

16. What exactly is happening?

I think I explained this in the complaints, perhaps in more details than was needed.

17. How do you feel?
I feel fine. I mean, I am really stressed at times, contempt at others.

18. How does this affect you?

Normally it's just inconvenience because it stains my clothing with that pus/blood mix. However, lately, it has been difficult to drive or sit and it hurts (not crazy pain, but slightly)

19. How does it feel like?
The pen-point is what has feeling and it is tender around the pen-point hole, but sore too when sitting.

20. What comes to your mind?
Nothing really, sorry I am confused by the question.

21. One situation that had a
big effect on you?
Driving home a long distance when I made a long-trip and I could feel that my underwear was getting the pus/blood on it and it hurt to sit.

22. How did that feel like?
Uncomfortable. I had to sit kind of sideways.

23. What sensation do you experience in that situation?
Slight discomfort.

24. What are you showing by that gesture of your hand (Habits or Actions)?
Stress

25. Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past?
Nothing. I almost took tumeric, but did not.

26. Family Background
Mom gets migraine, healthy shape. Dad not healthy. Brother healthy but has teeth issues. Grandmother has high blood pressure an fought can.cer (she smoked though)

27. Educational Qualifications of the patient
Bachelor's degree in History and Politics. Teaching degree.
28. Nature of work, what do you do for living?
Well, when I first got the slit, I was a student in high school and I worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier afterwards. So I would go from sitting at school to standing at work.

29. Desires, likes and dislikes for food
I like berries, cheese, peanut butter green beans, chicken.
I dislike beef, fish, and other seafoods. I also prefer fruits to vegetables (but I do like green beans and corn and lettuce and turnips).

30. Name of foods which increase your problem
Not sure there is, diet is pretty much the same.

31. Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry, impatient…and so on.. How are you different from other persons, public speaking or not , you can describe all of the details about your behavior, love and affections.

I am an extremely outgoing person who has no problem public speaking. I am humorous and caring (I do a lot of volunteer work). However, I am also a high stress individual, always on the go, and can be angry at injustices against me.

32. Aggravation (increases-time, season,)& Amelioration (Decreases)

I am aggravated usually when there is something that is wrong, but people just don't think it's a big enough deal to do anything about (like I got a speeding ticket and the cop lied in court, so I have constantly fought the ticket in court and people are like, it's just $60 [which is A LOT to me] just pay it, and I get really angry.) I get angry easily when people are apathetic, but am generally pretty easy going.

33. Attached here your photographs of the affected area. (if required/optional)

34. Location of the disease Butocks
35. Side of the problem (Right or Left), (Upper or Lower part of body) Center, but upper buttocks
36. Color of the secretions/discharges e.g urine, stool, sputum, Saliva etc. Um, pus and blood

What is the exact color of pus right now? Is it yellow, white or watery?

You need to get Berberis Vulgaris Q, Hypericum 200C and Merc Sol. 200C asap.

Hey! Thanks. It is still bothering me, but it is slightly getting better. Less uncomfortable, less draining. The pus I think is clear and wateryish, but there is some really pale pink mixed in. Blood does not ooze out and rarely ever do I see bright red or anything like that. It's slowing down though. Any idea of what is going on, and do you still reccomend Berberis Vulgaris Q, Hypericum 200C and Merc Sol 200C?

I hope all my questions don't annoy you, but what are each one of the three things you mentioned aimed at, and why are the usual Myst. and Silicea and Hephar stuff not reccommended here?

Your symptoms do not call for 'usual Myst. and Silicea and Hephar stuff '

The recommended remedies will take care of your pain, bleeding and dry the pus.
