i am 36 years old male my height is 5.8 but weight is only 56KG im really upset want to gain weight. detail about me
male 36
tough job with mental stress
mariied having 2 kids
sleeping habits not good
eat normally
please help me out if there any good homeotreatment plz sugest also if any good doctor who can be consulted in rawalpindi plz suggest hope to here from you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
did you lost weight recently or you were underweight constitutionally? What is the probable cause of your underweight?

please write in detail your food for all day (that you take most of the days), starting from morning you wake up till you go to bed.

is there any chronic diseases you run in the family. Is your parents also underweight?

do you have constipation, acidity or any other digestive troubles? do you get enough appetite for food, before you eat them?

what is your average energy level of the day. When do you feel better and when tired?

do you generally prefer cold or warm surrounding, esp when compared to others around you.

1.No my weight is same for almost more than 7 years i was underweight from the start.
2.Breakfast in the morning then lunch and dinner i usually do not take extra food other than above mentioned
3.no chronic disease in family
my parents and other brother and sister are healthy
4. i don't have any acidity but im sensitive to infection due to bad food specially if i eat outside home in a restaurant
5.i Feel better in the morning and a bit tired in the afternoon
6. warm surrounding

It is important for me to know what you eat every day. Only if you take enough protein and do excercise, medicine will benefit you. Write what you eat, how much you eat, what you drink from morning till night. I then can make necessary adjustments to help gain weight. Also give me your rotuine about physical excercise, which is also an important part.

ok in breakfast i take egg with bread and tea but i am not regular in breakfast some time miss breakfast
in lunch i take mutton on monday, rice tuesday, chicken wednesday, thursday vegtable, friday rice, saturday sunday mostly pulses.
almost same kind of menu for dineer with different days.i eat normally do not eat too much as i mentioned before i eat only at these three times if i eat extra some other time then i cant take lunch or dinner properly. well i donot drink much water almost 3 glass of water in 24 hours some time i take a glass of mango juice but it is not regular practice
as my office routine is too busy i dont have time for excercise these days dont take any exercise

Please take time to read the questions carefuly and answer my initiatial question: do you get enough appetite for food, before you eat them?

Stop taking tea. It reduces nutrition absorption. The key to gain weight is to gain very good appetite for food, then eat healthy, frequently.

Anyway, start taking, the following medicine for 1 week and report back:

Pulsatilla 30, half hour before break fast and another dose, half hour after lunch. Take Nux Vomica 30, half hour after dinner. Take this regularly for one week and report whether your food intake has increased.
