arachnoid cyst

My dog has an arachnoid cyst on his spine. He is not a good candidate for surgery. Symptoms include:
-rear leg weakness
-rear legs operate in a disorganized fashion
-worse on waking
-not a relaxed dog
-very independent but at the same time needs reassurance
-loves to sit in sun
-tremendous appetite (in a good way)
-sometimes spooked during sleep
-clear nasal drainage from nostrils
-treated in the past as hypothyroid
-vet prescribed 5 mg prednisone 2x day this week
-gets weekly acupuncture RX whihc seems to relax him

Any ideas?

I'd love any thoughts on possible treatment.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
All types of cyst yeils to Sulfur .
But in this case I think Calc Sul may be best .
Start at 30c three doses at 12 hr interval .
Wait 2/3 weeks to judge result .

May be necessary to go up the potency range to get a cure.
