Sudden onset of digestive symptoms

Hello, 3 months ago my son started having these 'attacks' where nausea, faint feeling, dizziness, tiredness would start and would follow by one or more bowel movements. These 'attacks' can start any time and last for hours and even days. My son has a number of other chronic conditions, but we would appreciate a recommendation for this acute problem. Thank you!

This nausea gets better after the stool ?

What else has changed since this acute episode started ?

sameervermani last decade
Sometimes he feels a little better after the stool but not always. These 'attacks' started about 3 months ago. A month later (2 months ago) he had a blood clot in his leg and was diagnosed with Factor V blood-clotting disorder and was started on blood-thinners. It all was a shock to him. Other symptoms he started experiencing were chest pains, getting tired easily even from a little walk, high anxiety, feeling down, fear for his well-being, etc.

Please elaborate on ' cannot be around people, very anxious '

'depressive thoughts'

'feeling down'

'fear or his well being'

What is his date of birth ?

Also, how does the cloudy weather affect him ?

He usually feels very anxious and stressed around people. Also he has a lot of fears especially about his health. He is afraid of not ever feeling well again. He is afraid of having deadly desease. These fears are especially strong now after he was diagnosed with the blood disorder. His date of birth is 05/28/1989. He feels gloomy on gloomy days.

What else can you tell me about him ?

How is his will power ?

How obstinate is he ?

What else is he afraid of ?

Any food cravings or aversions ?

What makes this stomach condition better or worse ?

sameervermani last decade
Because he has a bad case of OCD/anxiety, it has a huge affect on him. He pretty much lives in constant stress and various fears. He dosn't socialize, it difficult for him to go anywhere. His biggest fear is any illness or disability. He likes sweets and meat, he is not a big fan of potato and soft eggs. His stomach 'attacks' are unpredictable, they don't seem to be triggered by food. But when he doen't feel good he is afraid to eat.

Ok, so I am down to a few remedies.

Any particular things he says, or does that can help me pick the remedy ?

Is there any time of the day when he feels better or worse ?

What are the diseases that run in the family ?

Please be as detailed in your answers as possible.

sameervermani last decade
Especially when he doesn't feel good, he says things like his body is giving up on him and he might never feel better and his life is over and there is nothing to hope for. He is very aware that he has severe mental problems and cannot do anything about them. He is also aware of the expectations from a young men and feels bad that he is not capable of much. As far as his anxiety, he feels very anxious and stressed most of the time. As far as his digestive problems, these attacks can happen any time (mornings, noons, evenings, late evenings), he might wake up in the morning already not feeling well, or he might be 'ok' until noon and then start feeling sick. His father has anxiety problem as well but less severe. I had digestive problems years ago in school.

And, what remedies have been tried in his case till now ?

sameervermani last decade
He has tried a few remedies for his OCD awhile ago, they are captured under our old thread http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/117485/.

How about his anger ?

Anything that makes him feel better ?

How strong willed is he ?

How is his behaviour with family and outside people ?

sameervermani last decade
He might feel angry/irritated that he doesn't feel well or for being too crazy and not being able to do what other people could do (work, have friends, be independent). So far we haven't found anything that would stop/ease his digestive 'attacks' or his anxiety. I am not sure what to say about his will. He wants to get better and was willing to even fast in the past for a number of days even though it was not a pleasant experience for him. He has social anxiety as well (no friends, doesn't talk to anybody).

Ok, please give him just 1 dose of Lachesis 1M, and report after 2 weeks.

The dose can be given as follows:

Dissolve 2 pellets or 2 drops of Lachesis 1M in 250 ml spring water, [ if you have pellets, you might need to leave them in water for 15-20 mins to melt] and then stir well, and give a spoon from there ONCE.

sameervermani last decade
Thank you! Are there any rules we need to follow while taking this medicine? Can it be given any time without any dietary or other restrictions?

BlackSea last decade
Please make sure that nothing enters the mouth 1 hr before and 1 hr after the dose.

Other than that, just let him have his normal diet.

I want to re-iterate that just 1 dose is to be given.

sameervermani last decade
One more thing I forgot to ask. Can it be either teaspoon or tablespoon? And can the spoon be metal or it has to be plastic?

BlackSea last decade
Give a tablespoon. Use a disposable unused spoon (plastic or metal)

Hello, just wanted to provide some new information. While waiting for the remedy to arrive my son started experiencing somewhat different symptoms. What's bothering him the most now is the chest pain on the left. The faint feeling, extreme tiredness, some digestive discomfort and anxiety are still there. The anxiety is to the point that he is sleeping in my room now and wants to go to ER every evening. With these changes in his symptoms I wanted to confirm that I still should go ahead with 1 dose of Lachesis 1M as soon as we receive it. Thanks!

BlackSea last decade
Yes, it still will be Lachesis 1M.

Hello, just wanted to give an update even though it hasn't been 2 weeks yet (the dose was taken on 03/21). My son took one dose (1 tablespoon from a glass of spring water with 2 pellets dissolved) of Lachesis 1M. His symptoms are really wide spread (faintness, dizziness, lightheadedness, chest pain, headaches, nausea, digestive issues, aches in the body, extreme fatigue, etc. He has done a bunch of tests: blood tests, MRI, CT-Scans, ultrasounds, x-rays. So far the blood-clot with Factor V blood-clotting disorder is the only thing that was found. My son's grandmother has neurocirculatory asthenia. Her symptoms are somewhat similar to my son's symptoms. So far after taking the dose I don't see any changes, But I'll report back on Wednesday (it will be two weeks). Thanks!

Hello, it's been two weeks since the dose. It doesn't seem like my son is feeling any better. I'd appreciate if you could let me know what our next step should be. Thanks!

BlackSea last decade
When he went to the ER what was his main concern ? What did he feel as going on ?

sameervermani last decade
My son had a strong chest pain and was afraid that he was having a heart attack and could die. His fear of dying was very strong so that he was sleeping in my room. We actually went to various doctors with all his symptoms, but each specialist just picks some of the symptoms relevant to him/her and none of them could address a whole thing.
