This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
That doesn't make any sense. Calc carb is the only Calc carb remedy.

You want a warm Calc carb, that is Calc carb. If everything else agrees then Calc carb should be given. You don't have to have every symptom of the remedy for it to be the right one. Many Calc people do not crave warmth, but instead show other features of the remedy.

It only matters that the remedy covers the symptoms you have. It does not matter at all if you do not have all the symptoms of the remedy. In fact it is impossible to have them all. Calc has thousands of symptoms, so there will always be something you do not have that the remedy picture does.

Thanks for the reply but it seems you did not get what I want. The patient fits calc carb as far as she is fat chubby, but she is not fair as calc carb, she likes cold (not calc) she is better in cold weather. When modalities do not match it is difficult to prescribe right? If you go to VES then also you will get a same suggestion to give modalities.

This is the problem with only knowing the keynotes of a remedy.

Calc carb has the following symptoms, as listed in the Millennium Repertory:

'Cold, becoming, ameliorates'
'Cold, generally, ameliorates'

Allen says:

'Colic ameliorated by cold baths'
'Urticaria ameliorated by cold air'

Knerr puts Calc under 'Air, cold, amelioration' as a general

Boenninghausen also stated you could use Calc when becoming cold ameliorates.

Every remedy contains the opposite. Every remedy has a polarity. A hot remedy can be cold, an angry remedy can be meek. You have to match the state of the remedy to the patient, the totality. That is not just adding up symptoms, which can be misleading. In fact, a mathematical approach to homoeopathic prescribing rarely works.

There are things you are using which do not lead you necessarily to Calc. Being fair is irrelevent to any prescription, as it is not part of a disease state. If you do not cure it, then it is not part of the disease. Is red hair a disease symptom? Is dark skin? Is being of a particular race? These things should never be included in an analysis of a case. Anything which is peculiar or strange of course is relevant ie. skin that turns orange or hair that turns silver too early. But natural healthy characteristics are meaningless in the search for the correct remedy.

There is still so much superstition in homoeopathy unfortunately.

I agree that it is as you said it and again as you said Calc carb generally is a cold remedy you know that is why I thought if I could get a warm remedy which is fat and chubby. Any way thanks for your valuable guidance.
