HELP! recurrent corneal erosion. have tried everything nothing works

I have recurrent corneal erosion, which is a scratched cornea. When I sleep and my eye gets dry, the scratched part of the cornea in my eye rips open causing a lot of pain.

I have tried allopathic medicine which has not worked for me. I've also tried some homeopathic medicine but I either haven't tried it long enough, am using the wrong X, or it is not working.

I have tried Symphytum officinale 300x and 30C. I also tried 6C and I actually think it helped, but I didn't try it for enough days.

Can anyone help me? My eye doctor wants me to have surgery on it and I really don't want to because that is risky.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Senega 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

You should continue with Symphytum 6c for one month if Senega doesn't work.

Hi Kadwa, what would be the
potency and dosing schedule of the
symphtum off if she has to take it
for a month??

( I have a friend with similar eye issue)Thank you, Simone

Thank you,

I will try the Senega. Question though, if I hadn't mentioned that I had tried Symphytom, would you recommend me to try that one first or the Senega instead?

loveandpeace last decade
Symphytum 6 in the morning and evening for one month.

Senega should be taken first. There is a bright chance that it will work.

Hi Kadwa,

Thanks for your response. I went and bought 'senega 200c' today.

I was expecting them to be the size of the 6x or 30x pills but these are very tiny pellets. Should I still only take 2 of these per dose? (6 total each day for the 15 days)

One thing I forgot to add is that it was a blow to the eye (end of hockey stick) that caused the corneal erosion. Just wanted you to know that as well.

You are supposed to take only 3 doses of Senega 200. Please refer to my suggestion above for clarity. You should wait for some days for it's effects. If Senega doesn't help, you should start symphytum 6. Symphytum is to be taken in the morning and evening for one month. In the light of new information Symphytum looks better.

Yes sorry that was my mistake not to mention the 'cause' of the injury.

Well I have Senega 200C (that I started taking today) and Symphytum 30C and 200C lying around my house. A local retailer sells Symphytum 6C also.

I'm going to continue with Senega 200C (3 doses per day, 2 pellets per dose) unless you think I should stop and switch to Symphytum. I'll report back after 15 days with Senega.

Thanks once again for helping me in trying to solve my eye problem.

Hi love and peace, I assume
Western Pa you can make it into
Pittsburgh -

I think this woman would be a great
family doctor. Franne BerezMD ND
She studied in a homeopathic medical
hospital from 1976 to 1981. Obviously
she is very smart and also has available
in her office 'chinese medicine, Shiatsu
and a ton of other what I think is
very good stuff. She can handle digestive
issues in several ways.

Her site is Dr.Benz.com 412 422 5433
I always liked having a homepathic
MD myself as the family doctor.

oh shoot, my bad.

yeah I kept seeing those '3' doses and now I get it. That's embarrassing on my part...

Anyway I just looked into that woman you suggested. She seems pretty good and I will definetly check her out. I would first like to see if brisbanehomeopath is willing to help me at all though (I've looked at his past posts, and he seems to be one of the most knowledgeable homeopaths I've seen on here). Him and Kadwa seem to be very knowledgeable.

Thanks for her information btw. Also, just curious, how is your friend doing with her recurrent corneal erosion and how did she get it?

Hi Kadwa,

Thanks for helping me on this. This is earlier than the 15 days (couple days shy) but I wanted to give you some feedback.

After I was done taking Senega, the first couple of days my eyes were very slightly dry. I think day 3 or 4 I had a slight watery eye in the middle of the night. However since then, my eye feels 100%. I haven't had any issues and the eye seems perfect.

I have however in the past gone from several weeks to even months of no pain, only to have another corneal erosion.

So I hope the Senega 200C cured it. I will be seeing an eye doctor (May 1st I believe).

Just wanted to to give you this update in case you think I should take Symphytum.

Thanks.

If Senega worked there is no need to bring in Symphytum now.

That is really great Kadwa!! does this
mean then if his eye starts bothering him
in two months or something, then
he should repeat this prescription you
gave him and or perhaps go then up
in dose if it happens a third time?

Hopefully it is totally fixed but I wondered about the above.

simone717 last decade
He should just repeat the remedy as earlier whenever there is a significant relapse. If there is no relief on repeating his remedy will be reviewed.
