question

my organon teacher says that whenever you receive medicinal aggravation, give that remedy in more higher potency will antidote it.
is this true?
and if it is true, then why there is a list of antidotes in each remedy?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is not true. In fact using the same remedy is contraindicated. The Organon actually says that to antidote an inappropriately strong reaction to a remedy, the symptoms should be taken again and a SIMILAR remedy prescribed - as per the Law of Similars. This is mentioned in Aph 250 - what to do when the remedy is poorly selected. Aph 250 guides you whenever the medicine has not done what it should - new symptoms and provings, too large a dose causing aggravation, the wrong potency.

In the case however, where a patient is not suffering the medicinal aggravation, but is experiencing too prolonged a healing crisis ie. you are not seeing the primary action of the remedy but the vital force attempting to reverse the results of the disease, in such cases repeating the remedy or moving to the higher potency can hasten the cure. Patients and some practitioners are often unclear about what is the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary action of remedies, and so the appropriate time to antidote is not understood.
