Shin Pain

The shin pain started to appear about a month back while running on treadmill. A time came when it was almost unbearable even to walk...(earlier a pain in the shin stopped after an hour of running), so I stopped running and started performing other cardio exercises till it healed completely and then, when I started to run again after a week, its started to pain in my shin of both legs. Doctor asked me to have calcium, so had calcium tablets for a week but still the same. I can't stop running but want to get rid of the pain. Also I sleep around 2am-3am till 8:30am, so is it also due to lack of sleep? which is not letting it heal?

Any suggestions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi again,
see abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/170700

A post about shin splints. One person used
Arnica, a common muscle relief for a week,
another person who knows more about
homeopathy had access to more info and
looked up things under: never well since______
fill in the blank, He used cocculus to heal his,
which had to do with his individual problems.

If you Look up Jane Oelke Dr. of Homeopathy and
her site, she has some things listed, like shin splints,
take Rhus tox 30c ( does not say how long but I guess
you could email her)

You could try the Arnica the people used in the first post,
and you could ask Dr. Jane what her Rhus tox dose is.

Athletes get these things, and I was told that some
just do not run on a treadmill any more but on normal
ground.

Other people would have other things to say about
what to do here.

One more thing on the above-
the people using arnica and rhustox
for shin splints are looking at the
condition as an ACUTE injury.
In other words if I shut the car door
on my hand it would be an injury
and swell up and I would use Arnica.

The person who used cocculus was
trying to find his constitutional
remedy to heal the problem, a different
approach and much harder to do,
and rare to be able to find it on your own.

Thanks for the informative reply Simone. :)
Ummm my pain is like if I touch my shin bone, it pains a lot. Not sure if its the actual bone which is aching or is it the muscle. can't feel any muscle in that region though, so I'm guessing its the bone itself.
Will try with Arnica 30 twice daily for a week and look how it responds :)
