Uterine fibroids

I have a patient with uterine fibroid but I am not very convinced the way the treatment is offered in case histories in RADAR. Can anybody help me about how fibroid are treated in homeopathy and are homeo medicines effective against fibroid?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
All pathology is treated the same way in homoeopathy. You take the whole case, looking at all the things that are peculiar, and taking special note of the mental and emotional state of the patient. It is important with cases with advanced tissue changes, to make sure you have also addressed and understood the miasm. For such cases miasmatic treatment is vital to not only cure, but to maintain future health as well.

Homoeopathy does not work particularly well when you try to use remedies based on the name of the pathology. Many times the simillimum, the remedy that most accurately fits the whole case, will cure pathology even if it has never been recorded to do so before. I have seen this myself in practice, and this is especially true of the new remedies that have not yet been used enough to know what pathologies they have cured.

Thanks for the suggestion I have been asking this because I am not able to get a good picture of the case. I know that whole case would be the best thing to prescribe remedy to but...

Sometimes the fibroids themseleves might lead you deeper into the case. Sometimes there is quite alot of energy in the pathology, and you can access the general and even mental state that way. How they feel about it, how they think about it, how they manage it, how they imagine it. Sometimes the whole case can be seen to revolve around the pathology.

At times, advanced tissue changes seem to have taken over the patient's energy to the point where their individuality is lost. In a way, this is just like some acutes such as poisonings or injuries. The body begins to respond in a predictable way, according to common human parameters. In these cases it may be necessary to look to those remedies best known for adressing the pathology. However there are still alot of those, for something like fibroids which are common and have been cured by many remedies. You would still need to individualise the kind of fibroids they have.
