Muscle Degeneration

Can anyone tell me what are the symptoms of muscle degeneration? I have quite thin arms and legs since the very beginning. Few years back a doctor said that i was suffering from muscle degeneration. I didn't take him seriously as I always had thin arms and legs. Anyway nowadays my hand trembles a lot while trying to eat with a spoon or put a tilak on a photo. Am i suffering from this. My husband is quite worried as my family has a history of Ataxia and i am next in line who may get it.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This is a problem that is genetic/hereditary, as you obviously realise.

Is there any TB in the family history.

What did the last 3/4 generations die of?.

How well do you sleep
Are you very tidy/untidy.
Is there any metal that you cannot wear (as an ornament?.

I do not have the heriditary problem. My father, his mother had ataxia. My father was later diagnosed with hydrocephalus in the brain and had to go for draining of the liquid from the spine.
He died thereafter of the post operative complications. My grandmother fell down and got an injury to her brain and died at the age of 80.
I sleep quite well though at times my mind is too active to sleep. A very deep sleep.
I can wear all metals. am generally an untidy person.
But walkin, i want to know the symptoms. My arms and legs have always been thin. So why did the doctor say this? 5 years before at that.

Forgot to write. I myself suffered from gland tb in the pota for a long period before it was diagnosed. Then cured by the anti TB drugs and also homeopathy. Have also had brain hammerage SAH at the age of 34. Now am 45. No complications after the op.

Once again.. My mother's family 3 generations died of high BP including my mom at the age of 37. Her brother and sister have Hypertension too and all her aunts have it. I too have it.

It is not possible to "cure" TB with BOTH TB antobiotics and homeopathy.

If you use crude drugs you suppress the problem and its symptoms and drive them deep into the body .

Assume the brain haemorrhage was AFTER the TB was "cured" with crude drugs.

One of the things that a TB heritage means is that the walls of the veins are often thin and subject to rupture.

TB is a relative of AIDS and that is often known as the "skinny disease".

One of the components of TB is PSORA and if you are untidy and warm that points to Sulfur which is one of the leading antipsorics.

But an overactive mind on going to sleep often indicates Thuja.

Check them out.

Thanks walkin,
I have taken Sulphur Iod 6 once daily for a month or so as advised by Astra.
My TB has been cured ... the medicines in homeo were given by my late Dr. who was monitoring it all...
I am not skinny. I am overweight. 62 kgs at last count a week back.
To know my case fully you are requested to read my post 'Excessive sweat on forehead'. Though there are more good doctors in Calcutta where i live, this forum which i discovered accidentally has helped me more than any doctor after the demise of my Sir. Which is why i keep on consulting here. Am on too many drugs and slowly want to stop them all.

Do not understand,

At the head of the post you say you have "skinny arms"?.

I am not skinny, but my arms and legs have always been thin which led to that doctor saying I have muscle degeneration. now as my hands shake while eating with a spoon my husband is worried that i do have it due to my family history. As i also have raynaud's syndrome my legs too are weak. Just wanted to reassure ourselves that I dont have the degeneration problem.

There are two approaches here one I have used and know , works .
The other based on Dr Julian´s mat med and Agrawals may med of Glandular remedies.

THe first I used some years ago for someone who had trouble grasping anything , and was about to give up his occupation.

This was one single tablet of the same remedy in 3 differnt potencies--- 1m/10m/cm taken on three days when going to bed.

The Remedy was mercury.

If one used the Glandular remedy Thymus 6x , one would use it twice a day for 2 weeks and then wait at least 3 weeks to judge the result.

Akso showing up , but not strongly is Kali Brom.

My main question has not been answered. What i want to know before any medicine is that do I have any symptoms of muscle degeneration or was the diagnosis just out of the hat as I have thin arms and legs. My hand trembling - can it be due to another reason? I can grasp anything, can write easily ( my father and uncle have had a lot of trouble writing as their arm shook a lot). My problem can also be due to the Raynaud's? Pl let me know.

Hi maya - suggest you visit a site called wrongdiagnosisdotcom (go to section on muscle symptoms). Hard to tell if you do have muscle degeneration or not - maybe this will give you enough guidelines to check if you do, and offer differentials. As you know, it isn't relevant what your condition is named - why not just post ALL symptoms for walkin?

You have a hereditary condition that an allopath might diagnose as xyz --- but a homeopath puts very little fait in that kind of diagnosis.
THe remedy suggested deals with most of the signs you have , including signs of Raynauds.
