Pilonidal Cyst
I have suffered for about 15 years from a pilonidal cyst. I am 28 years old, in otherwise good health.For about four years, it drained on and off from one location and has not bothered me very much, aside from having to wear a bandage. Now, another huge cyst has appeared slightly above and the left of my original cyst. It was opened out of a small, deep hole and is now bleeding quite a bit after discharging a lot of watery pus.
I have heard about myristica and Silicea, followed by Calcarea Sulp but I am really looking for an end to this horrible disease once and for all. I have never tried homeopathic remedies and do not want to undergo surgery.
My husband and I are planning to have a family soon, and I also want to know if these cures are safe while trying to conceive and/or while pregnant. I must get rid of this cyst, and that is primary concern for now. Please, please - any help is SO appreciated.

8. Temperate spring climate right now, approx 60 degrees F
9. Major complaint is the pilonidal cyst I have lived with for many years, almost 15 years. Started low in the cleft to the left side. That opened and drained several years ago and continues to occasionally drain. Now, another large swelling has appeared higher and to the left of the original pilonidal. This too has opened into a deep round hole. It is draining blood now after draining watery pus for a few days.
10. I've had the pilonidal since I was probably 13 or 14.
11. Non-diabetic
12. I like both sweet and salty but I try to eat healthy and not snack during the week.
13. Normal thirst, I drink a lot of water.
14. my taste buds and appetite are good.
15. BP is approx 129/76
16. The newer pilonidal location has opened and is draining blood. I want to get rid of these once and for all before I get pregnant.
17. I feel otherwise fine. I do have a herpes simplex 1 cold sore on the right side in the corner of my mouth. I get them approx. 1-2 times a year and suffer greatly from them.
18. The polidinal affects my everyday life, I'm embarrassed I may be bleeding through my pants at work. I feel disgusting and ugly because of the wound at times. I often do not feel like having intercourse because of the pain and discomfort. The cold sore makes me extremely embarrassed.
19. I feel nervous that it's going to get worse. I feel scared that it could really get bad when I'm pregnant.
20. What comes to my mind is that I am really sick of living with this disease.
21. A situation that affects me is when I have to go the beach I'm afraid I'll bleed through my bathing suit and be totally embarrassed.

25. I have taken antibiotics. I also put topic neosporin on wound. I have tried tea tree oil, iodex, peroxide.
26. My mother is of Italian background, Sicilian specifically. My father is a mix of Calabrese and probably German or Irish. He also suffered from a pilonidal cyst and had surgery as a teenager. My younger brother (age 20) suffers from this as well. He has had in lanced (I have not) but still occasionally suffers.
27. I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (theatre) and some credits towards an MS in Education.
28. I am an Admission Counselor at a college
29. I love almost all food and love to cook. Hate Cilantro.
30. I'm not really aware of foods that aggravate the cyst.
31. Unfortunately I am most irritable with the people I love the most, my husband and mother. I struggle to be less uptight about small problems. I try very hard to do right by my family and do good for everyone. I do have family stress related to money - just got married and left my parent's home. They are struggling with money severly and I feel unable to help them. I love being in front of people and public speaking. I was a theatre major. I love to cook. I feel very empathetic towards people and their plights, sometimes it is harder for me to show that with the people I love than with strangers.

Another question, What strength of Berberis Vulgaris do I purchase? I do not see 'Q' as an option.

I am also reading that berberis is not good for pregnancy. If I was to conceive and not become aware until I miss my period, will this be dangerous?

You are right. I will trust your remedy and take as prescribed. There has been no bleeding today, only pus, light yellowish, beige and watery. I think less pus than yesterday. Little to no pain at all. No constipation, but quite a lot of gas pains. No burning or itching.
