Pregnant with fatigue

Smad01, age 22, female, married, 140 pounds, 5'7, non-diabetic, lives in typical continental climate with cold winters and hot summers, no past surgeries or hospitalizations, no known allergies, no childhood diseases. I am also 24 weeks pregnant.

Lethargy/Energy: I always feel tired. My eyes feel sleepy. This started happening around the age of 13. I have no energy or motivation to do simple tasks. It is difficult for me to stand for even short periods of time. I want so badly to run and play with my son but I have no energy to do it. I am extremely slow and quick movements are exhausted and very difficult for me to do. I cannot function normally with little sleep. I must sleep at least 8 hours per night. If I nap during the day after I want up I am cranky and irritable and there is a lot of pressure on my head.

Mind: My mind feels tired and weak. It is very difficult for me to think and to communicate with people. If someone asks me a question it will take me a long time to come up with the answer. I feel a lot of pressure in my head around the temples on each side when I need to think really hard. I get very frustrated when I am challenged and I feel a lot of pressure in my temple area. I am very impatient also.

Back Pain: I have a constant back and neck pain

Sexual Desire/Relationships: Sex is very painful. Started when pregnant with first child 2 years ago. I also have thicken yellow/white vaginal discharge with noticeable odor. Started then pregnant with first child. I am unable to lubricate naturally for sex.

Remedies I have taken:

I have taken KALI PHOS 200c and 30c. It became harder for me to cope with things than before taking the remedy. When I would get frustrated I would shut down and snap at people. I had little patience. No improvement.

SULPH 200c. Head felt weighted down and foggy. No improvement.

SEPIA 200c. SEPIA 1M. Became very thirsty. No improvement.

Lac-Humanum 200c. Wet dose. Lac-Humanum 1M wet dose. Much more irritable in the mornings. Symptoms feel “toned down a bit”

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A more complete case needs to be taken to make a better suggestion of remedy.

I will post my intake form. Go through it and answer all the questions. We can then proceed through the process of choosing a remedy.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GIVING YOUR CASE

Go through each problem one at a time giving a full description of what happens, what pains and sensations you get, what makes it worse and what makes it better, the history of the complaint including when it started and what was happening around that time.

Write a separate section for each problem. Cover even the smallest problems you have.

If any of your symptoms occur together, or immediately before or after one another this is important to note as well.

Do not give single word or short sentence descriptions. The more information you give the better I will be able to help.

Do not read up on the remedies and discuss them. Do not attempt to use the Remedy Finder program on this site. Try to keep yourself apart from all the information about remedies on the internet. Such research on your part actually makes it harder to find the right remedy for you not easier.

Whenever you describe a sensation or pain, try to help me to imagine having that same pain. For example, what would have to happen to me to recreate that symptom?

Allow yourself to diverge if you wish. If discussing the problem brings up any emotional or mental issues, then discuss them.

Do not edit your report, except for spelling mistakes. It is important that even if you use the wrong word, you write that. You can correct yourself in the next sentence.

If you have not done this by the time you have covered your problems, discuss the problems you have generally had in your life. What have been the big traumas, the big issues for you? Where have you felt unable to change, where do you get stuck repeating the same behaviours?

Also discuss the issues you might have had in childhood. Talk about your family, your upbringing, your parents. What kind of child were you? What did you fear, what did you aspire to, what do you remember the most?

Lastly talk about the way in which you handle or cope with your problems. What are the patterns that reoccur in your life? How do you find yourself managing your problems, even if it is not successful? To what degree do your problems affect you? How do you think everything will work out in the end for you?
Also answer these general health questions, if you have not already discussed them:

1. What foods do you crave or hate?

2. What drinks do you crave or hate?

3. Does any food or drink have a negative effect on you?

4. What is your sensitivity to the temperature and weather?

5. What is your physical energy like? What activities seem to raise or lower it?

6. What is your sexual desire like? Are there any problems in this area you feel comfortable talking about?

7. What is your sleep like, what problems do you have with it?

8. What issues do you have around your menstrual cycle (if a woman)?

9. What dreams tend to reoccur in your life, or have reoccurred previously? If not a specific whole dream, what images or situations tend to crop up?

There will almost certainly be more questions from me after this to clarify and to explore further.

Mental Fatigue/Tension: It's hard for me to think- about anything. Conversations with people are very strained because it is very hard for me to think quickly and come up with answers in conversations. When I have to think about something to come up with an answer, such as for a test, there is a lot of tension build up in my head in both sides of my temples. It's hard for me to sit and concentrate on work because my mind is always wandering and it is impossible for me to focus on one thing. When I clean I pick up different things in every room of the house and eventually everything gets done but its hard for me to focus on cleaning just one room at a time. Writing down these symptoms is causing a lot of tension and frustration.

Energy: I have no energy to do even simple tasks. I feel like jello or pudding in that I am very weak and do not have the strength, energy, or motivation to do tasks. I crave to be an active, fun, playful person. I want to run and be quick and play with my son but I don’t have the energy to do it. When I do quick movements I exhaust myself so quickly and its very uncomfortable for me because I get lightheaded, out of breath, and dizzy. I feel like a brittle old lady.

Teeth, hair, nails: I have mildly yellow teeth with white mineral deposits on the top front 4. When I take calcium and minerals I notice a change in whiteness. My hair and nails are dry and brittle and break easily.

Back pain: I don’t know how else to explain my back pain other than... it just hurts. Throughout my whole neck and back area there is just a mild painful sensation. When I move or stretch my back I feel my bones moving and cracking.

I came from a very poor family. My father died when I was young and my mother had emotional issues and epilepsy and I raised myself from when I was just a little child. Because I didn’t have nice things or food growing up I would always think and fantasize about how I was going to make things better when I grew up. I now constantly think about money and finances and how I am going to make more money because having nice things will fill that void and make me happy. Also because I raised myself and always made decisions I have a hard time sharing responsibilities with my husband. I always need to do things my way because I feel like its best. Maybe its not that I think my way is best- its that I don’t hear my husband when he talks to me. It seems like because my husband is the figure of authority and I was when I lived with my mother than I am starting to mimic her behaviors and am acting like her to my husband.

1. What foods do you crave or hate?
I cant think of any that I have a real craving for except that I recently started taking an ionic mineral supplement added to my water and I will start to crave it throughout the day and taste it in my mouth. I feel like my body really wants/needs this because it tastes disgusting and I definitely don’t crave the taste for personnel satisfaction.

2. What drinks do you crave or hate?
None.

3. Does any food or drink have a negative effect on you?
Fruits and vegetables also don’t satisfy me unless I eat them with a protein. If I attempt a juice cleanse I get anxious and jittery.

4. What is your sensitivity to the temperature and weather?
I get sick at every change of temperature. I really feel good when the weather is mild in spring and early fall.

5. What is your physical energy like? What activities seem to raise or lower it?
I have no energy or motivation to do anything. Even sitting down and playing with a puzzle with my son will make me exhausted.

6. What is your sexual desire like? Are there any problems in this area you feel comfortable talking about? I hate having sex because its impossible for me to lubricate naturally and it is painful the entire time.

7. What is your sleep like, what problems do you have with it?
I cannot function with little sleep. I already feel during the day like I have been awake for a few days straight and not sleeping pushes this feeling to the extreme.

8. What issues do you have around your menstrual cycle (if a woman)?
I would get very emotional and weepy around that time. Other than that nothing else.

9. What dreams tend to reoccur in your life, or have reoccurred previously? If not a specific whole dream, what images or situations tend to crop up?
None.
