Hi Joe,I have consulted a naturapathic doctor for my son who is 16 weeks old. He suffers from symptoms of acid reflux such as burning/painful spit up, wet burps, and smelly curdled spit up (which I assume is from the acid in his stomach). The doctor recommended weaning him from his Zantac and trying Unda #1. We tried it and unfortunately my son spit up a large amount each time we tried putting it in his bottle and was very irritable, so we decided to stop the medicine wean for now. I am a full time teacher and in 6 weeks I will be home with my son all summer so I will try to wean him from the Zantac then.
I have been reading your posts about using Nat PHos 6x to eliminate reflux symptoms. I purchased some but am not sure how to proceed. The naturopathic doctor said it wouldn't hurt to try but she didn't prescribe it because she was not familiar with using it.
Can you please tell me in detail how to use Nat Phos 6x as a remedy for my 16 week old son?

You have already read the therapy I have prescribed for many babies and the remedy prescribed is
Nat Phos 6x.
You will dissolve half a tablet in milk and give it to him immediately after every feed but do not exceed over 3 tablets in 24 hours.
Please STOP the Zantac which is not recommended for long term use for both babies and adults.
Report baby's response in 24 hours.

My son is on formula, not breast milk. Can I dissolve the half tablet in water and give it to him after every feed?

One more question...I have the Hylands' Nat Phos 6x. They are very small pellets. Is this the same as the tablet? Do I give half of these?

Nat Phos 6x is a Biochemic Cell Salt and if the label on your container does not state so, you are advised to get the above from a different vendor.
It is important that you get the standard tablets of this remedy as the pellets you describe are not the type that can help your baby.
