Any Cure for Tan Arms ?

Hello All,

I am a male of 28 and live in Arizona. As you know the arizona sun is notorious for what it can do to your body. I am having some problems with the skin color on my arms. Since its summer, everyone wears short sleaves and so do I. But I recently noticed that my arms have gotten extra tan from elbow down. Its looks very bad, well, at least I dont like it. Does anyone know of anything to bring back my original skin color? Also, I have got little tan on the face too... please help me out, I dont like to be tan...

Thanks.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Exfoliate with a loofah or some such to get rid of dead skin which will help fade the tan. And if you "don't like to be tan" ...

Use suncream.

Read somewhere that tomato (juice or paste, I guess)applied to tanned skin helps. Ditto a mixture of curd and lemon juice. Pretty icky, I shd. think. Using a cream seems far easier, but I am suspicious of any chemicals used in sunscreen and sunblock creams - who knows what they do to you...

Thanks Carlotta and Minsa for your replies. I will try to exfoliate and tomatoe thing.

By the way, isnt there any homepathic cure for it? I believe it would come under the category of "skin discoloration".

Its a natural process, not a disease.

It is just a waste of time to find out remedy to cure Tan arm.it is due to exposure to the sun .please protect yourself from direct sunlight.if the discolouration of the skin is due to some disease.it can be cured.
