This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I regret that I am not aware of any remedy that can reduce the level of Uric Acid in your blood.

I have always worked on the principle that unless any remedy I prescribe has been tested and found working in myself or in another person who was a willing guinea pig, I do not prescribe it to anyone, especially on a forum like the ABC.

Uric Acid often results in Gout in the patient.

I have helped patients with Gout with Nat Phos 6x which patients have reported, cured their chronic gout in a week.

I do not have any experience with lowering Uric acid levels in blood and cannot therefore advice you.

Nat phos cures gout by dissolving the uric acid crystals from joints--> blood--> urine. So it can lower uric acid levels.

I hope that Nat Phos 6x can also help this patient but as I have already stated I do not have any prior experience in its use to reduce Uric Acid.

However since Paki has also recommended it, the patient can take 3 tablets Nat Phos 6x after each of 3 meals daily and report results after a blood test in a week.

He can also take Arnica 30c in the Wet dose to help reinforce the action of the Nat Phos.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

i don't think the patient should take blood test in a week, why? because in week or two the uric acid crystals will dissolve from joints to blood and will take at least 2-3 weeks (in most cases months or so) to flush it out through urine. Blood tests may show high uric acid level if checked after a week as it is gathering in blood stream from joints. Nat phos will maintain body and urine urine ph level it not just maintain stomach acidity but whole body that's why body's internal system won't let uric acid crytal to gather into joint rather making it more soluble to flush it out from body. So please wait at least some weeks before taking Serum uric acid report. However in some mild or rare cases uric acid levels will be controlled in a week or so.

Thank you for your input.

I agree with you completely.

As I stated in my last post, I do not have any prior experience in treating a case of high Uric Acid although I have successfully treated a few cases of Gout which had defied the treatment of allopaths and also a well known classical homeopath which only left the patient in greater pain than before.

This is the great advantage of a forum like the ABC which attracts many (over 8000) visitors on a daily basis and this enables people like you and me dedicated to Homeopathy to put our thoughts together to help suffering humanity.

The patient can take a blood test in a month if you too agree. I hope that he has a record of his last blood test for comparison purposes.

I would like to share with you the notes by Dr Scheussler on Nat Phos below:

Natrium Phosphoricum

Notes by Dr Schuessler

Sodium and Phosphate ions are to be found in our body in the muscle, nerve and brain cells, in the blood corpuscles and in the tissue fluids. According to Dr Schuessler, Nat Phos splits the lactic acid, which is produced by the work of muscles into carbonic acid and water. The carbonic acid is absorbed by the sodium phosphate and brought to the lungs where it is eliminated in the process of breathing. If sodium phosphate is lacking, there results an excess of lactic acid and consequently a sour taste, heart burn, sour stools, vomiting of sour, caseous matter, particularly in babies who are overfed with sugar and milk. If lactic acid reaches the lymphatic glands, the albumin of the lymph glands coagulates and the gland begins to swell. In the initial stages of swelling of the lymphatic glands therefore, Nat Phos has a healing effect because it can split lactic acid. Nat Phos further assures that the uric acid of the blood which is formed by the splitting up of the albuminous substance is kept in solution and secreted by the kidneys. Should this not be the case, uric acid will be deposited in the joints. The sequels are Rheumatism. Gout, Sciatica, Lumbago. In the Gall, Nat Phos saponifies the fatty acids which have been consumed with the food. It is hence indicated against digestive disturbances resulting from excessive consumption of fat.

notes by Dr Schuessler, yeah that's what i meant exactly. I am classical homeopath but do use Schuessler's tissue/cell salts in daily practice in my clinic, though they rarely will bring full permanent cure but can easily bring instant relief in patient's emergency situations like gout, fever, pains etc.

Thanks for your comments Joe. And yeah patient should take blood test after every 3-4 weeks but he should have to take nat phos for longer period and let nat phos work along with strict diet, he should avoid red meat, spinach, lentils, peas or excessive dairy products he can eat chicken (can eat chicken because i read somewhere on internet that chicken has anti-inflammatory properties), green leafy vegetables and lots of fruits specially berries etc .

Thank you for your response.

Have you visited my website:

www.joedelivera.com

It seems to be attracting many visitors on a daily basis and I am kept busy in advising them which I do completely free of charge.

You may like to know that I am not a professional homeopath and am not qualified although I have studied this science using the same textbooks that you would have used in your studies.

I have evolved a slightly different therapy which some classical homeopaths derisivly labelled 'Joepathy' which term now attracts over 1600 hits on Google.

Dear patient
I have found the following remdy helpful in case of excesive uric acid:

Vasiceria Inc.Q (pure 50 drops in a litre water and drik it in quantity of half cup after every hour) and get your report after 2 weeks.

Dear Dr Mahfooz,

Whether the cases helped by Vesicaria had prominent urinary symptoms (because that is what Boericke Materia Medica says)?

Thanks and Regards.

i don't think he need Vesicaria because it seems its initial stage of uric acid(without deposits in joints, patient did not stated he's having joints pains) that's why there is very very minor chance of kidney to be involved though it excretion depends on kidneys but the uric acid diathesis depends on two factors.
1. Metabolism disturbance i mean excessive uric acid production in which kidneys usually excrete normal uric acid out of body but still excessive production in system.
2. Kidneys functionality to excrete it normally because its not much soluble to be excreted.

Either way both factors need to be treated classically to cure the relapse which there is always in uric acid. Even if i agree with mother tincture i would go with urtica urens (have great power to expel uric acid even gravels). Burnett J.C wrote in Gout and its cure that in acute situation of uric acid diathesis he always used Urtica urens q but after patient's S.uric acid is normal or patient is feeling normal then treat him classically. Vesicaria will be very last choice.

Paki,
You seem to be the most on top of this-
why don't you offer a prescription
for the nat phos and urtica urens,
for the patient.

I don't think Joe will mind at all.

I don't treat people virtually(internet) because i don't have that much time to treat online(my daily practice get effected with this and also mostly due to languages issues). I reply whenever i find time or some specific topic.

The things i stated are the ones which were in my mind or you can say my views. dr.Mahfooz and others are senior than me, and as this is a forum so i shared my views. Patient can go with whatever prescription he like. I am here on forum, to just let someone (sameer or david) choose and select my remedy as in my opinion its impossible for someone even homeopath to select his own remedy as i read several time in books that the writer admitted that one cannot choose his own remedy.

Hi, guess it is up to patient to
incorporate what he wants out of this
and ask for Dr. Mafooz or Kadwa to
prescribe bc Joe is not in his comfort
zone here as he has said.Or patient could
go to a local homeopath with the
information on here .

Paki- thanks for putting your knowledge
on here about this, very educational.

I believe that all our many posts on this thread on Uric Acid may have confused the patient.

I would advice him to start on Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets taken thrice daily after meals and report his response in 2 weeks after a Blood test.
