The ABC Homeopathy Forum

mixed remedies

Hello everyone.

I am at a little stand-still, so I would really like to ask for your opinion. My sister is ill for about 3 years or so (some problems with her intestines, ovaries, uterus, kidneys and liver, if I am not mistaken) That is not really important. The idea is that she went at this very good doctor and he prescribed some medication. She received her pills, but I noticed that they were various remedies mixed in them (dillutions as in D3, D2 or D4). Her orriginal medic, which is a homeopath told my sister that the medication prescribed by the other doctor is no good, because the remedies are to be taken one at a time. So now she is a bind. If you could give ma an advice, I would really be grateful. The medication she received are Upelva, Magnesium sulfuricum/Ovaria, ozovit and Microflorana-F. If you need me to tell you their composition, please tell me

Thank you very much.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes the medicines should be taken as single medicines, each one prescribed for the whole case. Your original homoeopath is correct - such a treatment plan will not work out in the long run, if it even works out in the short run.

The person she has seen is what we call a psuedohomoeopath, someone who does not practice according to the guidelines and principles set down by our profession.

Why did she switch Doctors?

Was it bc the original homeopath's
treatment was not working?

And what country are you in?-

What is the second dr. qualifications,
is he an MD and a homeopath or what?

well, she didn't actually switched doctors, more like a second opinion.

The remedies worked, but very slowly, so I guess my sister just got impatient and wanted to know if there isn't other possibilities (she has sharp abdominal pains for almost 3 years, it's not quite fun).

The second doctor is an MD, but I believe he has some homeopathic training, because he uses only these kind of medicines (although they are mixtures)

thank you very much for your answer, I thought as much...

She might try switching to another
classical homeopath.

Or putting her case on here.

simone717, does your relpy has anything to do with my question?

by the way, I am mostly satisfied with the first answer, but I would like to see other opinions too, so don't be shy :)

thank you

Most of the time on forum, people
leave out things bc they don't know
they are important and then they
never get a answer that is going to
move them forward.

My opinion is , if your sister starts
really getting better with the MD and it
holds and keeps improving that is what
you want to happen.

If she does not, personally I would
find another homeopath that has
done similar cases to your sister,
whether local or online.
