ongoing problems.
Hi,I am posting on behalf of my husband.For as long as he can remember he has had a problem with some form of congestion. He has been diagnosed with sinusitis about three years ago but even after treatment he has never felt any better.He has been to the dr so many times ,but he just tells him to go and steam is head with decongestant.My husband constantly steams his head and this is not helping.He is off balance sometimes and dizzy,he has cold and flu symptoms all the time.He also has alot of stomach problems, his stomach gets upset very easily. He has thick sticky yellow catarrh in the mornings.He had labyrinthitis a couple of months ago which we used a homeopathic remedy to cure, the vertigo has gone but he hasn't totally recovered. His homeopath told him he still has sinusitis and gave him kali birch for that but it didn't work.He has had so may remedies over the last couple of months that i've lost count.I try to watch his diet.He cut out chocolate about six months ago,we aslo cut out pasta and potato on the homeopaths advice but still nothing.He also feels pressure from the neck up and he feels his pulse throughout his body which he thinks causes him to sway.He always complains of heaviness in his head.His eyes are often red in the night.
I am sorry this is so long. I would be so grateful for any help or advice.

I posted this post on two forums and someone on the other forum suggested my husband try one week of puls 6x and take a week break then one week of silica 6x.
He had a choice of 3x or 6x and we chose 6x.

I thought I would just quickly update you as to my husbands condition.
He took the puls for a week and then took the week break and now he has just started taking the silica. During the week break he says his symptoms were worse but again he's not sure if its the weather. Since the labs he has become very sensitive to weather changes.Now he feels pressure in the sinus area and around the eyes.He is also alittle unsteady when looking around.Also when he sneezes he smells a odour from the mucus.Although he hardly ever sneezes.
Is this to be expected and should he carry on with the course?
p.s. I forget to mention that since he has been on homeopathic medicines,he has developed eczema patches on his arms which flare up when it's warm and sunny.

You have not mentioned how old your husband is and for how long he has suffered from his ailment which I read as chronic sinusitis. Any information on what treatment he has taken and for how long will also help.
For his eczema you can use Arnica 6c in the Split Dose made up as follows:
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from your nearest supermarket.
Pour out 100ml
Drop in 3 pellets or 1 drop of liquid Arnica 6c into the 400ml water
Cap the bottle tightly and succuss it 4-6 times by banging on your palm and look out for the air bubbles to fizzle up from the bottom.
Pour out 1 teaspoonful of the potentized remedy into half a cup of water and stir it gently.
Sip just 1 teaspoonful of the water from the cup twice daily, once in the morning and shortly before sleep.
Please note that the water in the cup should be used almost immediately as it seems to lose its effectiveness if kept over and used the following night.

I think the appearance of the eczema is a good sign - BUT is he feeling generally better (in spite of the aggravations) or not? If not, I wouldn't continue. As for the Arnica - I would suggest you read it up and see if it fits your husband before using it.
Which remedy did he take for the lab., and in what potency?
What is his nature like? Is he nervous? Is he quick and hurried? Does the steaming make him feel good,i.e., does he like the heat, or does he just do it as recommended? Likes/ dislikes? Chilly / hot?
