BV Misery!

Im a 27 yr old female and i have been fiighting a BV infection for 8 years. Im active, wash everyday, wear cotton underwear. I have been perscribed the metrogel thats inserted vaginally but when I have my period again it flairs up. Ive had my blood drawn for tests and eveything came back normal. I have an off-white discharge that has an odor but not a strong one. Its painfull when i have sex, it bUrns and the smell gets worse like its aggrivated. Ive also asked my gyno about a vinegar douche and she said absolutly not! Is there anything I can do to make my Ph in my body more acidic? I also have issues when I take an antibiotic I have to also take a yeast infection medication orally. Seems like it strips my body of all good bacteria.
Im in such desperate need of help right now! I fear Ill have to live with this the rest of my life.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
1. Tell about your menstrual cycle, less or more...
Im on the birth control patch and have been for years. Cycle is normal. Heavy for bout 3 days then runs bout 3 more days. No heavy cramping.
2. How's your liking for sex actually, less or more...
I do like sex. Im not seein anyone right now so Im not engaging in it right now. No masterbation.
3. Have kids or not?
I have 1 daughter. Had her vaginally. Everything was normal about her birth. She 7
4. Operated upon for anything anytime?
Never had any operations.
5. How's your mind behaviour, anger, fear, etc... Describe your personality... How are you in public speaking...
Im on an anti depressant. Very mild case that goes hand in hand with my ADD Ive been told. Was clinically diagnosed at 16. Im a happy person. Glass half full type. Funny, witty. I like to have fun but know when to be serious. When im not on my meds, im real talkative. Cant focus, have a short fuse. I have mood swings when not on meds.
6. Tell about your food habits and your likes and dislikes in food... Also about your water intake, and how it varies with hot and cold weather...
Im a trained chef so my food habits are across the board. I like Japonese, chinese, italian, pretty much any other food besides american. I eat pretty lean, mostly fish and chicken. Occassional pork chop or steak. Real big into fresh veggies and try to get them year round. I drink a ton of water. I m pretty sure I get all 8 cups of recommended water a day. Never really been big on pop. I do make green tea at home. Cold brewed with a 1/4 cup of white sugar for 1 1/2 gallons. Usually have to make that once a week.
7. Write about your general medical history too with all health issues you face in general...

I have sensitive skin. I use a speical bar soap (citaphyl) that was recommended by my doc. Im generally pretty healthy except for this BV issue.

I knew I wanted to be a chef since I was 12years old . I moved an hour away from home after graduating highschool. Was in culinary school for about a year before i became pregnant . I didnt know my daughters father for very long before. We stayed together throughout my pregnancy and were together until she was about 18 months old. Im an independent woman so being with a man that had everything done for him by his mom wasnt working. We were never married but our breakup was real ugly. We both grew up and now were really good friends for her. No sex between us at all! Ive only had 2 other serious relationships after him and those didnt pan out like I thought. Ive been single for the past 4 years. Had a couple friends with benefits but those men werent over lapping in time.
I dont see what this has to do with my issue...
I dont have the leg movement problem you were talking about.

Kyletaylor23,
I don't want to rain on the parade here,
however it seems you do not know
much about homeopathy and Varun
is doing a radical way of prescribing.

Most homeopaths use one medicine at
a time and do not use 10M doses which
are extremely high doses and really
not used unless you see a patient in
person.

Varun has written a book on his methods
which are not orthodox methods, and
I just do not want you thinking this
is 'normal' homeopathy and be a
experiment here.

Another person on here would have
complete different treatment,
a homeopath in person would have
lower dose remedies etc- so it just
looks like to me that you don't know
what you are getting into and
you should know the facts and make
a decision based on real homeopathic
information. Even if you went to
an online homeopath and paid some
small fee etc and see what other
types of prescriptions etc would be
offered to you and educate yourself
a bit before you decide ok I want
to try this out anyway. I have nothing
against Varun, however many people
come on this forum knowing nothing
about how homeopathy works and
think everyone offering a prescription
must be doing it in some normal
protocol and it is not the case. You
must do some homework before you
make decisions.

We have a couple homeopathic doctors in town. I have an appt with one tomorrow. I started questioning some ?s he asked and figured maybe theres a reason. I havent bought anything or taken any supplements. Just the clinical meds that a MD perscribed. Thanks for the heads up! I dont know anything about homeopathy but seein is that several clinical MDs have just givin me ho-hum answers and said Id just have to be carefull , I was willing to see what someone suggested.

Just like picking an MD, you want
MD who has experience, especially
in areas of your concern, and has
a reputation for success in those areas
thru reviews etc.

The same thing goes for a homeopath
that you see, How long has the person
practiced, what is their success with
problems like yours, are they a strictly
classical homeopath ? ( look that up)
or are they someone like Robin Murphy
( look him up) who calls himself a
clinical homeopath? Are they a naturo
path or chiro who uses homeopathy?
(not very good bc they don't have
the training in homeopathy) Some
homeopaths are md's also which
are the ones I have gone to and they
also can be doing homeopathy almost
one hundred percent or not??

on the forum if you
read posts and check who is getting
healed and click on the name of person you will see their profile and
can then ask for the person you want
to treat you.

Don't know where you are but some
USA has tons of homeopaths, some
hardly any, and often times people
do come on forum if their homeopath
did not work out for them. Keep us
updated on your progress if you feel
like doing so or if you have questions.

best to you,
Simone717

Btw, the questions were not strange,
as homeopath's are looking for a remedy
that matches your whole person-
that means, food, mental state,
weather likes etc, and the closer
the match the better the remedy is for
you. You can have sometimes 50 medicines that seem close but how
to choose it can be narrowed down by
odd symptoms such as kicks covers
off bed at 3 in the morning etc and that
particular symptom is in the list of
what the homeopath is looking at as
far as remedies and is in only one
remedy on the list. Not like allopathy,
the homeopathy is trying to match
all of your individual characteristics
to a remedy , that will then boost
your vital force to clear out what is
not supposed to be there.

Varun,
I am just saying that anyone brand
new to homeopathy ought to find out
what homeopathy is about and what
kinds of different homeopathic approaches there are and how long
a person has been practicing is important
along with cured cases and their
homeopathic philosophy.

And, if you start reading tons of forum
cases nobody is giving a 10m unless it
is Sameer for a longstanding case and
I have never seen anyone give 2 10 m's
at one time. So your method is a
very unusual one and people should
be informed of that and NOT think
this is just 'regular homeopathy'
bc it is not. If they know that and
want to do your treatment fully
understanding this, then it is up to
them-but to present it as the norm
to new people who know nothing I
don't agree with that.
