cough & cold in 1st trimester

I caught cold because sweated profusely at night.I started sneezing, and my nose was also dripping profusely some 2-3 days ago. I took Nat Mur 6 and the sneezing and nose dripping came to a stop bringing a new problem. The cough became semisolid. My nose got blocked, ears blocked. Even ef I cough vehmently only a little amount of cough comes out and the color is greenish white and very thick. I am 5 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to take Kali Mur 30 so that the cough is loosned up and comes out. Please let me know.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Someone please help me out. Actually Iam a bit asthmatic. As soon as this cough will settle in my chest it will turn into a nasty cough with asthmatic conditions............

Do you have experience only with the tissue salt remedies and have you never tried other remedies like bryonia, calc carb?
